I love these clips. I can put these either to hold a hook. Quick and strong! Change your hook depending on bait size. I use these clips to hold my weights. Gives me versatility to change weights easily depending on different fishing conditions. These will not break. They will handle a 125lb fish. Hows that for strong!

I only use clips when tuning lures I make and these are without question the best option for quickchanging. Light enough as they don’t hinder lure action but strong enough incase I hook a fish while testing.

Update: ok, i was a little upset at the time because these clips were bending out on me a little making them difficult to use. I have learned to adjust them with pliers. Still not as good as the last batches, but i wouldn't Surf fish without them. Before this last buy I would give these 5 stars, this last batch is different. I’ve used the 125# clip for 4-5 years and I love these clips. My last order of 25 are not the same though. You can see the shape is different, the ends are round and not pointed anymore. After catching a few 3-6 pound stripers I see the clips are bending open making it difficult to remove and install a new lure. While fishing I just bend it back with my pliers and change it later but this is disappointing. Before this batch I’ve used a single clip for a month catching 10–20 pounders and they were like new. It could be a knock-off, it could be a new design or just a dip in quality.

stronger than rated. landed a 180 tuna on a 40 lb clip... w/ 80 lb braid great for quick changeouts. Put it on the deck to test its load... 40 lb deformed at 85 lbs... My kind of gear !!
