Cheap, but decent value
The straps themselves are quite decent, and unlike the heavier duty ones I have, the end of each strap is cut at a 45 degree angle, which makes threading the buckle really easy. However, the buckles themselves are quite light and I wouldn't trust the buckle to not break for any stress much over a hundred pounds. So for a surfboard you're fine -- but a stack of them or a SUP I'd buy stronger ones. But they're $2 each, and I really can't imagine finding a better buckle at that price! I wanted to use a pair on each end of a canoe to connect to the connectors under a Subaru, and they're absolutely perfect for that, and stronger straps would have been overkill -- not to mention a bit expensive.Update: I noticed the box is labeled "working load limit 183 pounds", which seems accurate. I do like to stay under 50% of the working load limit on anything like this.

Simplifies life's basic roof rack challenges - including kayak transport
I've used a similar product made by Thule for 20 years. Unfortunately, I sent my son home with them because I bought his wife a book case and they needed to drive 4 hours with it on their roof rack. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I find myself needing to carry my kayaks on my Highlander roof rack to go camping. I purchased this set and was immediately pleased with the value and versatility. The box comes with eight straps. Sounds like a lot. I only need two to strap my kayak to the rack. But wait, by the time I had returned from camping, I'd used all eight sets securing a tarp between two vehicles to provide shade, strapped an awning to the side of our tent trailer that was pulling loose in a 70 mile an hour headwind (used three in looped series), and of course the kayak itself. I've since bought a second full set to carry in my Rav4 and recommend that every car with a rack have a set.

Good straps, convenient sack.
Good straps, great storage sack. I purchased the straps because the reviews of the folding kayak racks I ordered indicated that straps were not included, but they were. I kept these straps because I liked the sack and, hey, I'm a guy and, like duct tape, one can never have enough straps on hand. I've already used them on my kayak rack and they function properly.

Great strap for the money
It's a proven design. The materials are on the cheap side, but for my application (tie down kayaks on car's rack) it did the job well. And for what I paid for, it's well worth the money. Depending on your application, if you need tougher materials I would go for NRS brand, but it quite a bit more expensive.

Can’t beat the price and decent quality
Our old cam straps were showing a little wear and with a 19 hour round trip, I decided it would be best to buy some new straps. These worked very well. I’m sure there are thicker straps you can buy, but you really can’t beat these for the price and they are nice and strong. They may wear out faster than more expensive thicker ones (we’ll see as time goes on), but at this price, that’s not a big deal. We strapped our kayaks to our roof rack with these and the kayaks didn’t budge. Both days were also extremely windy (wind advisory) and the kayaks held rock solid. I’d definitely recommend these and would definitely buy them again.

Get cheap plastic....
Ordered straps with metal, got a cheap plastic clip. These will not work to hold down our trampoline....

Strong straps for a kayak
I use to tie down my fishing kayak on a trailer. These straps are great easy to thread and they hold solid.

Solid strap material and good locking mechanism.
Impressed with overall quality. You can find similar for less but these seem to me to be the best!
