I ordered this for my mom as a Christmas gift. When it came in, I loved it so much that I kept it and ordered two more - one to give to my mom as planned, and another as a hostess gift for my mother-in-law whom I will be visiting in a few weeks. The photo here on Amazon doesn’t do the book justice. It is very heavy - an excellent weight for a coffee table book. As expected, the paintings portrayed inside are stunning. I love having a little piece of Teil’s art in my home and it makes a lovely gift!

Such beautiful art - what a talent - I was mesmerized by the great variety of her subjects - the same colors yet executed differently - from the human subjects to the landscapes. If you like color and appreciate art - this is the book for you!

I purchased this book to cut pages out and frame as artwork in our home. I'm still planning on doing that--but also am going to buy another book whenever it's on sale again because I LOVE it so much. My daughters love it as well--I keep finding them looking through it. The color stories are excellent, which I think really draws them in, and I'm delighted to find them studying good art. Tons of full size pages that you can cut out and frame, but if you want to do that like me, save yourself the trouble of reordering and buy two to start with!

My daughter loved it. She had named her child after this artist, so was thrilled to receive the book.

It’s beautiful! I purchased this after seeing one of my favorite home bloggers recommend it. I absolutely love the book. I don’t have a coffee table (toddlers), so I keep it on a shelf. I’m looking forward to picking some favorites and framing them! Great buy. Worth every penny and more.

My wife purchased this book to send to her best friend for her birthday and when she opened it today she discovered that it is pretty mangled from faulty cutting. Unfortunately as it's past the cutoff for returns there doesn't seem to be much we can do about it which is frustrating as it was a pretty expensive book.

I coveted this book for a long time, waiting for it to go on sale due to it retailing for approx $110.00+. It was finally on sale for less than 50% so I immediately ordered it, and sent it back the very next day. Don't get me wrong, the paintings she does are lovely, soft water colors of beach scenes, portraits etc, but I was disappointed with how little text was actually written in the book, and it's a considerable thickness. Instead I found many pages of a repeated image simply in a different color scheme, page after page of photos of her previous works which are lovely, don't get me wrong, but was far from what I was expecting!My suggestion would be to research this book before you order it, maybe from a library or art store. Paper quality is very good, with a very thick sturdy hardcover which makes for quite a weighty volume.I still think it is a pretty 'coffee table' book but has NO instructions or how-to's if her work inspired you to try to replicate something similar.
