Works great.!! Love being able to control my studio light
If you thinking about buying these diffidently do. They work so much better than Pocket Wizards, and they're half the price. You can control the power output on Canon or Nikon flashes and/ or control the power output on AlienBees lights. Great product!!

Radio Popper needs lock on transmitter
Have bought 2 transmitters and after losing both due to no locking mechanism have gone with Cactus V5's which are much cheaper. I liked the Radio Poppers, especially being able to control individual lights from camera, had a few misfires but not too many. The range was way more than I probably would ever need. There are only 2 things I really did not like about the Radio Poppers. There is no locking mechanism on the transmitter and it is a very loose fit. Do not walk around with camera at waist and transmitter on camera. I lost the first one, while walking my dog and the second on a crowded dance floor. I only found the battery cover and battery. I only took my eyes off transmitter once on the second one and it was gone. So do not plan to use these outside the studio much or fashion some sort of Lanyard. Radio Poppers would have 4-5 stars from me if I were not pissed about losing transmitters. I feel this is a design flaw. I can not afford to keep replacing transmitters. The other thing, I did not like much is there are no indents on the power controls, it is very hard to adjust power precisely, so I resorted to go to individual flashes and switch too and adjust power manually. The flip side too this, is it in theory has Infinitesimal control, in reality not so much. One other minor annoyance is battery type. I likethe fact that cactus uses AAA. Had the misfortune of having remotes turn on in bag, tough finding a battery and expensive when I did.Have not had the cactus system long enough and under as varied conditions yet to judge them.
