Can the insides of these be cleaned thoroughly so that you could swap the filling, say from shampoo to mouthwash?

The only real way to clean the inside is by rinsing. I would say yes but quite a bit of rinsing would be involved.

Would the matador flatpak toiletry bottle (90ml) securely hold liquid (e.g. vinegar)? particularly if pressure is applied (e.g. in a backpack/plane..)

I've only used mine for shower gel and I don't think I would be happy putting food in it. I think it would hold it ok but there is a difference between plastic and food grade plastic and I'm not sure this is food grade. Also something acidic like vinegar may have a detrimental effect on the bottle.
