Replacing like for like
My old bottles like this need new lid seal gaskets after using them for 10 or 15 years, but the only ones I could find that would fit were $2.25 EACH. I searched to find the same kind because I love them. These are better than my old ones because the top snaps tightly closed. The old ones didn't snap as tightly, and they would open and spill when I dropped them. I don't drop them much, so it didn't deter me from using them. The lids also fit some of Rubbermaid's other bottles, like quart, pint, and half gallon jugs with this style lid. That's really handy for matching up lids. I do wish I could get other colors, but they must have quit making them, or maybe they're not making these at all, and this is the only color left? Since I wasn't sure I would be able to get them in the future, I bought three 4-packs. That should last me the rest of my life! :)

& these wash easily on the top rack of the dishwasher
I purchased these to freeze water, juice & iced coffee to keep ice cold drinks with me at all times while working. I spend a lot of time driving with my job, & these wash easily on the top rack of the dishwasher, don't retain colors or odors, & save me money since I'm not purchasing drinks everywhere I stop. They also make it easier to stay hydrated, & I can make my iced coffees low cal instead of purchasing high cal to go drinks. These bottles cut down on our costs, as well as environment waste, since we're no longer purchasing cases of water to take along with us every day only to discard multitudes of bottles. These bottles seal well, have never leaked at all, & fit in a standard size cup holder. They freeze well, but be warned, as with most plastics, if you drop it on the floor half way full of frozen water, it will crack & be deemed garbage. Ask me how I know. HAHA. If you found this review helpful, please vote helpful. Any questions will be answered to the best of my ability.

Here is how to do lunch: Everest Cooler Lunch Bag; EasyLunchboxes Bento; Rubbermaid Chug --- and how to keep COLD!
Here is how to do lunch: Everest Cooler Lunch Bag; EasyLunchboxes Bento; Rubbermaid Chug --- and how to keep COLD!So far, so good. Here's what I did:1. I bought the EasyLunchboxes 3-Compartment Bento Lunch Box Containers, Set of 4, Classic2. I bought the Rubbermaid Refill, Reuse 20-ounce Chug Bottle, 1 Pack of 4 Blue Bottles3. I bought the Everest Cooler Lunch Bag4. The night before, I partially filled the Chug bottle with apple juice and froze it5. The night before, I packed the EasyLunchbox Bento with food and refrigerated it5. In the morning, I filled the Chug bottle the rest of the way with cold apple juice and tightly capped it6. I put the Chug bottle into the Lunch bag (the apple juice is partially frozen to keep everything cold)7. Threw in a napkin8. Added the already refrigerated-lunch (cool) EasyLunchbox Bento. (BENTO MUST BE ON TOP!)9. You can also add a small frozen water bottle under the Bento as a back-up drink and for extra cooling.Everything fit for my daughter! And stayed cold

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Easy to use & to clean.
We have the old style from about 8 years ago that we are still using, but wanted more. I'm glad they still make them. These are great because there are no complicated parts that are difficult to clean. This is a lid with a cap and a bottle and that's it. The bottle's opening is the same size as the bottle itself, so it's very easy to clean. Even though you're not supposed to put plastics in the lower rack of your dishwasher, this is where we have always put them & they've never warped or discolored. And the cap makes a snapping noise when you close it so my kids know when it's completely closed. My oldest totes them around in his bookbag with no leaks.

Best Bottles Ever
I needed something for carrying on horseback. This bottle fits my needs perfectly. It fits in a standard bottle holder that hangs from the saddle, I can grab it, open it/close it and drink from it with one hand. It doesn't leak and I don't have to deal with straws or weird little pop-up spouts. I freeze it half full to 3/4 full of water on hot days and then top it off depending on the weather. With the dirt and grime and natural elements I encounter I needed something that was dishwasher safe and didn't have places to trap bacteria. These bottles do it all.

Easy to fill and drink from, but doesn't stay shut well enough.
These are inexpensive, and I like keeping them in the outside pocket of my pack on day hikes - they're easy to open and to drink from. They've got wide mouths, so easy to fill including ice. But the rest of my family doesn't like them at all, because they pop open more easily than the older model they replaced. It's not just that they can't safely be kept inside of a pack, but my family feels that even light jostling can open them and make a mess if they're outside of your pack. They claim they do as good a job as is possible to close them fully, but that they just don't stay shut very well.

Hydration at its finest
Ever wanted to drink water out of somewhere other than the ocean? BAM! Use this! This amazing liquid receptacle can not only hold water and other liquids, it can also enhance their consumption. Just flip open the lid, hold it up to your mouth and tilt it so the liquid flows into your mouth. Or wherever you were trying to pour it. Highly recommend pouring it into your mouth, just saying. This unstoppable water holding and pouring is truly a force to be reckoned with in the field of hydration.

As expected. I used to get these bottles at Target but can no longer find them there. I use them everyday--the only reason they don't last for me is that I keep leaving them behind!
