Transformers: Rescue Bots: Meet Optimus Primal (Passport to Reading) Paperback – January 20, 2015

Love these step one books, they make great bed time books because they only have one sentence per page. And of course, great for young learners

My 3-year-old LOVES the Rescue Bots. We role play the Bots every day, and we fight over who gets to be Optimus Prime. He usually wins because he's three, and I'm not going to be a mean mommy. But when we read this book, he lets me be Optimus Prime. I've really developed my impersonation of Peter Cullen with this book.This is based on the episode of the Rescue Bots where the team find dinosaurs on Wayward Island, and the dinosaurs attack. Optimus has to scan a dino form from Trex, one of the animatronic dinosaurs from the museum (remember those from the very, very first episode, and the book 'Meet Chase, the Police Bot'?).If your kids like Transformers or Rescue Bots, this is a great addition to any Bot collection.

My son loves us but his favorite character is Optimus prime in this just made his day we read this book a couple of times a day to practice his reading and his skills has definitely improved in purchasing this book will be buying additional books like this one in recommending this book for my friends children. It's also easy for a child with small hands of her that he didn't be able to hold it on their own the book isn't too thick or two just enough he just to make it a challenge but still nice and fun for the child.

Awesome book I loved I grew up on transformers and this. Brings back so many memories awesome book totally recamened it for little kids.

My 5yr old has been struggling to learn letter sounds. He eats, sleeps and breathes Rescue Bots, and this has really helped him to start recognizing words. At the beginning of each of these books, it gives 4 words for the child to find in the book and he insists that he must be the one to say those words when they come up in the story.The books take the highlights of one of the tv episodes, so the story is familiar and easier to follow along.I need to add that he has severe ADHD which is causing severe struggles in learning, so these books are a God send.

okay book. My grandson liked the bright colorful pictures but the stories are not so good.

My three year old, Willy loves the Rescue bot series. These books are a perfect fit for him. He loves them and it gives another way to give him his rescue bot fix with turning on a show! He asks for these every night since they arrived. I would highly recommend them for young children. As he ages he will be able to read these on his own as well because the books are written for early readers. I believe these will be a favorite for a few years in our house.

My preschooler loves Transformers and since it doesn't seem like a lot of Transformers merchandise is geared for his age, I was excited to find this. It's not an intro. reading level. I have to read it to him, but the story is entertaining and it gets him interested in reading.

Great booksMy son age 4 loves these rescue bots

My son (a die hard rescue bots fan) loves these stories. They are thin books with very short, basic & easy to read stories based on one of the tv episodes, so if you're looking for chunky books with intricate, new stories then these aren't for you, but I've been made to read these virtually every night since we got them so from a 4 year old's perspective they're worth 5 stars!

3.5 year old liked it.

I bought this book for my 5 year old who has autism and he loves it.The pictures are colourful and engaging, whilst the text is simple sentences; this is great as long sentences can overwhelm him.The book arrived on time and as described!This is his favourite book and would highly recommend the other in this series!
