The band on this cap is NOT cotton (as was per the product description), cotton was the main reason I bought it. It feels like it is nylon. (No identification tag of fabric on cap). Since it is synthetic, it can be HOT to wear!However, I have tried other caps, etc, that did NOT hold my long hair in sufficiently. I like the adjustable band & it keeps my hair fully contained. So, yes, I WILL buy more of these!

Smaller than expected. I must have a big head or the model has a small one. I was hoping for a larger bouffant that would give my hair more space.

These run very small, so if you have long hair, look for another kitchen hair covering. My head size is average, and this felt snug. These are going back.

I have long hair and a pony tail just never seems to be enough. I started using knit caps and that worked, but I was uncomfortably warm. Then I bout this chefs cap and it is nice and cool and causes no discomfort-- not only does it look great, it is easy to pull my hair inside the mesh cap and keep hair out of the way while cooking. It washes easily too (I put it with delicates in a mesh bag). Love it so much I bought one for my mom who loves it as well. She has short hair and can't pull her hair up with a ponytail so this chefs hat works well for her as well as all she has to do is tuck her hair inside. Plus she says she feels so professional while cooking :)

This is not warm. I rated it five stars anyway, because that's the point of it and I assumed it was a mistake. They are extremely comfortable and stay on all day on my almost abnormally small head, even when removing jackets and doing slightly more labor intensive tasks than cooking while at work. Beats the terrible hair nets that would get stuck to every rough patch on my hands that I, you know, cook and do dishes with all the time. I barely even notice it's on unless my very determined hair slips out and gets in my way again, but I don't blame the caps for that. Brands have yet to invent a hair product that can contain my very smooth and straight hair. It does what it wants and what it wants is straight down.A coworker even asked me if I would get her some for Christmas.

Ive been experiencing some rapid hair loss lately due to an allergy and no matter how careful I think I am there always seems to be hair floating around the food when I cook. (Embarrassing!) These caps are lightweight, adjustable, look pretty cool, and keep the hair on my head not in the food. My older son who has a habit of pulling out his hair uses one too. Keeps these pesky fingers off his head. He also looks pretty stylish wearing it too.

I use this to cover my hair while running errands. Since people are refusing to wear masks and COVID-19 is spread by talking I dress like I’m heading in to clean a nuclear accident.

Light and headband is comfortable.The adjustable tie works fine but I need a better “closure” device.I would have given this product a 5-star ratingwere the tightening design more robust to hold hold in place after an hour. Large strands of hair worked itself out after 40 mins of wear. I wear this at home when I make food for my family so that’s OK. May not be IDEAL for professional staff.Clean, light (not flimsy) and comfortable.

The cap itself is fine, fits well and is comfortable. However, the order page says that “3 hats are included in the package” but actually I only received one hat. It was not possible to get the other 2 hats sent via Amazon as it was sold by a 3rd party seller, but Amazon did credit me £5 GBP to my account, but this still ended up costing me more than I expected to pay, now I have to try and order more hats and hope that the same problem does not occur.

Great for kitchen, especially if you have long hair. Very comfy and stays on
