Great mask for golden beige blonde tones.
I recommend this mask for anyone with bleach blonde hair trying to achieve a golden blonde tone. Please note: This toner will leave a purple tone after application but the purple will wash out upon your next wash leaving a nice golden tone. I usually use the icy cool shad option instead to achieve a platinum silver tone. U can switch hair tones week to week by simply changing toner color.great product and I will continue to purchase these toners.Oh, and don't bother purchasing there shampoo as that is overkill. All you need is the toner mask and use your own shampoo. you may need to play around with how long to leave in your hair, I only need it in for 10 minutes or less. Try it out, what do you have to lose.

Worked for me!
Update February 2017: I have stopped bleaching my hair and discovered I am nearly totally white at least on top. I started using this shampoo and conditioner exclusively and love it. The conditioner is fantastic. I was formerly using Redken Color Extend and tried it again the other day but it really dried my hair out. I only shampoo and condition every 4 to 5 days and would not recommend using the Naissant every day. I only leave it in for a couple of minutes at most. The shampoo doesn't lather a lot but lather is not necessary for cleaning your hair. If you only get the shampoo get another good conditioner since the shampoo is drying, however, you could just use the conditioner if cost is a concern. I get compliments on the color of my hair, it's very bright and shiny. Also I don't bother with the lemon anymore.Older part of review: I bleach my own hair with a combination neutral and ash blondes only going over my roots as they grow out so the end color eventually looks brassy since I won't re-bleach it. When I saw this product on YT And read mostly positive reviews on amazon I decided I had to try it. I used it this morning preparing my hair with lemon juice for two minutes. I left the shampoo on for approximately 5 minutes and then the treatment for approximately 4 to 5 minutes. The shampoo did make my hair feel dry but the masque softened it so it feels very silky. I am very happy with the results. My hair looks ashy/beigy and much brighter which is exactly what I wanted. Another reviewer said it makes her gray/white natural hair look good so I'm hoping as my hair grows out I can go longer between coloring or possibly not have to color at all. Also I am waiting to see how it makes my dark brown look since the back of my hair is salt and pepper. I am very happy with this product. As for negative reviews all products don't work the same for everyone.... we are all different so what works for one won't necessarily work for the next person. All you can do is take a chance unless there is somewhere you can get your hands on samples of this shampoo.

Love it but you need to know how to use it!
This product was recommended to me by a salon colorist. The way you get this (and other purple shampoos to work properly) is to first wet hair, take sliced lemons & squeeze juice into hair (brassy areas). This prepares the hair to open up to receive & "take" the shampoo properly. Read the directions & leave it in for the amount of time indicated. If you have lots of brass you may leave it in a bit longer on those areas but be careful if you're platinum blonde & only have brassy roots. Use ot where you NEED it. If you don't have a lot of brass or yellow you may not need as long. Also be aware that regular use of the product will create the best results. So even if you don't see ALL of your brass go away the first time that doesn't mean the product doesn't work. My colorist (who is my relative & wasn't selling this item) recommended using this about twice a week. I was able to see results after the first use of this product using the lemon juice technique. I DO follow up with this same brand's mask (which is recommended & is also purple). My hair is NOT left with a purple tint of any kind. It has not stained towels or anything in my bathroom. My hair doesn't feel damaged or brittle or dried out. It feels nice & soft. No yucky smell either. Smells nice.I will definitely continue to use this product! It is a bit pricey but I feel like it's absolutely worth it! I have learned in matters of the hair... you get what you pay for. I have tried tons of purple shampoos & this has been hands down THE BEST!For reference: I have naturally light brown/dirty blonde hair. I keep it a medium or light ash blonde (I switch it up). In between colorings I do a few highlights AT HOME to stretch out how often I completely bleach/color. I feel like it's better on my hair that way. I am Scottish/Irish descent so I naturally pull "golden" when I lighten my hair. I have red heads in my family. So when I use even light ash colors (I always use cool colors not warm) I still get a brassy or yellow tones. It will especially show a little while after coloring/bleaching.I believe this is a fantastic maintenance shampoo & really fixes it! I actually washed my hair over the side of my tub & looked in my bathroom mirror to apply the shampoo the first time to BE SURE I was hitting the brassy spots really good. I could literally see those tones change in a few minutes while looking in the mirror. I did not go over the amount of time in the directions on the bottle. I have no idea if this would work for other hair colors. I do know it works for blondes! I hope this helps!
