Rockstar Energy Drink, Sugar Free, 16oz Cans (24 Pack)

The OG sugar-free diet rockstar is the best energy drink out there. It tastes great and I’ve been drinking it for over 20 years. Why can’t anybody just say it’s going off the market instead of putting a picture like this when it’s not the right thing? Can somebody please tell me is this off the market and why? It’s by far the best rockstar!

I did a price comparison with the local stores. Unless there is an amazing sale on rockstars this is hands down the beat price I have found. It’s my husbands favorite flavor so buying it in a large package made sense. Having it delivered to my house was amazing! I loved just bringing it inside and putting it in the cabinet! Most places I have to buy it one can at a time, it’s time consuming at the store and at home. This was simple and easy. I wish I could subscribe an save so I don’t forget to reorder. These are awesome and I love buying in bulk. MY boyfriend has one before work everyday because he works third shift but has classes during the day. I found it cheaper to do this so I bought a couple 24 packs. These did not last long between the two of us. They taste wonderful but are a lot of caffeine. If you don't drink it normally Id NOT suggest these! My friend tried one and could not finish it. She felt sick the entire rest of the day because she never drinks caffeine. I routinely drink it and have since I was young. These cans are wonderful for me to take in my lunch to college classes and help me keep up between class, clinical, working and homework! Plus 20 calories for a whole can? Who can beat that?

Update: Ordered again, showed up with 4-5 cans bent up. It's a chance I guess so I probably won't order again. Arrived in perfect condition, all in tact and accounted for. Usually I run to wal-mart and get them at $1.50 a piece, this makes is slightly cheaper. Once in a blue moon you'll find them super cheap but I drink them way to often to wait on that sale. So this works for me. I definitely recommend. As for the flavor, it's the only one I can drink and none of the other brands do it for me. Monsters make me almost instantly sleepy and others don't do the trick like this brand and flavor. The only one i'll ever drink. With that said, it's not for everyone. One of my boys says it's like drinking battery acid lol, and the other son drinks them like crazy with me. So i'd try one at the store first before getting a whole pack of 24.

What can I say? I like Rockstar - but the flavour I prefer (mango!) is hard to find, so this flavour is a good compromise. Not only do I like Rockstar, but many times I need it - it gives a nice boost of energy and vitamins that a simple cup of coffee does not. I tried other brands, but Rockstar is the only one that has great flavours - the lemonade or the mango are wonderful - and gives me energy in a pleasant, natural way. No jitters. Plus only 10 calories per can? Can't beat that.

This tastes good, I like the Dr. Pepper milieu and I especially like the sugar free aspect, but there is an overall metallic coppery artificial quality to the taste and it leaves a bit of aftertaste. I cannot speak to the caffeine/energy effect because caffeine doesn't work on me.

I used to buy these at the dollar store for $1 each. The current price on Amazon is a tiny bit more, delivered to your door! After recently having Monster zero Ultra I was kind of disappointed with it. It tasted weird. The taste of Rockstar is better in my opinion. I do put emphasis into taste. As I only have one energy drink per day. Just goes to show that brand recognition doesn't always translate to being better. Although my all time favorite is Monster Lo-Carb. But lately they are hard to find at a reasonable price. But definitely Rockstar over Monster Zero Ultra any day of the week. I think most of the Monster zero line is vastly overrated. Case in point, if you are trying to decide between Monster Zero and this, I highly suggest you go with Rockstar. And you can't beat the price. Definitely will buy again.

I normally don't take the time to write a review but I felt it was necessary this time. I have purchased this product multiple times as I love the sugar free Rockstar. I received my package on time, however out of the the 24 cans 8 were damaged like the picture I included. I cant even open up the cans as the tab just pulls right off. This is very frustrating as I paid for 24 drinkable cans and 8 of them have to be thrown away. Please be aware that if you order this product they may come damaged. I'm not sure if Amazon fulfillment or the delivery person is responsible but either way, it is completely unacceptable.
