Buy a bunch now, you won't see this price for very long.
They are great cameras for the price Amazon is charging at $32.99And including a Power Supply free? All I can say is wow.5 star rating all around, they are that good. The construction of the unit itself is very good being cast aluminum, the machining of the casting is tight and precise (such as the threading, sizing, fit and finish), and weather sealed. The quality of the graphics is very good, be it viewing on a CRT system directly or viewing on a computer through software. Now a lot has to do with the software itself. Don't blame the camera if you use garbage software. And for $32.99 you will never beat these 480 resolution cameras, even compared to 700 resolution POE (Power Over Ethernet) CCTV consumer grade security cameras selling for $200.00.I got the first one and after viewing it on my system, I ordered 11 more right away, before the price goes up.I use these cameras with a Sharx Security SCXSC300 16 Channel PCI-express Digital Video Recorder DVR and Remote Internet Access Card with Windows 7 Driver and Software. 24/7 Recording, 16 BNC video inputs for connection of 16 wired cameras + 4 audio inputs120 frames per second (total) at 720 x 480 resolution for smooth, detailed videoIncludes Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit driver and SecurityCenter software for viewing, recording, or internet access. The SecurityPlayer software allows remote internet access.MPEG4 and H.264 video compression, with or without motion detectionAlso fully compatible with LuxRiot and BlueIris softwareThese cameras are compatible with my system and produce perfect quality video. As I said, I bought 11 more today for a total of 16 cameras, to fill my system.Buy a bunch now, you won't see this price for very long.

Excellent Security Camera
I have many different types of cameras around my house that I use in my system, and I have to say that this one I like the best. The image from the camera is crisp and clear, in both night and day settings. I prefer wide-angle lenses for use in home surveillance so I was happy that it shipped with one. IR lights are visible to the naked eye, but are definitely powerful enough. They lit up a 25ft long room with no problems at all. I'm glad this unit ships with a CCD instead of a CMOS chip, as the quality of the image is so much better! The housing is decent, though it feels like the paint can chip off easily. It ships with the tool you need to adjust the bracket. The bracket itself is a bit cumbersome to use, since you end up fighting yourself when you screw it all together. I had to have the camera plugged in to figure out which way was up (the photo-resistor is at bottom of the screen) since there are no markings.Unlike many other cameras, this one did not include a cable to hook into your DVR. I don't find that to be a problem, but it will add to the cost of the camera.Because it uses 12V, you should be able to use a computer to power the camera. At 500ma, it shouldn't be much of an issue for your computer's power supply, and you'll eliminate a ground loop error in the process.

First one lasted one year; replacement lasted only 3 montths
Worked fine for about 1 year, then the colors went wrong and everything was pixellated. Replaced it with the identical camera (because the bezel was already mounted) and all was fine. That is how I knew it was the camera at fault and not the wiring.Warranty information and specs are not even available on the VideoSecu website, but I can't believe the warranty goes past one year on cheap Chinese junk.In this case, you get what you pay for.Update 2017Dec11 : the replacement camera only lasted 3 months. This time I bought the insurance, but the settlement only mails you an e-gift card (i.e. no cash, no store credit, no replacement). Downgrading from 2 stars to 1.

Unimpressive night performance, but not bad for the price
Installation was pretty easy. I spent about an hour mounting the camera and was able to mount it in a very clean and unobtrusive manner under the eave of my garage. The installation left no cables showing whatsoever. Note that you will need a wall or box or something on the other side of where you mount this camera to make the connections. There is not enough room between the camera and the mounting base to "tuck" the BNC/power connectors, extra length of cable, etc. The cable off the camera is maybe 12-18 inches long so I simply bundled everything up inside the garage. As far as image quality, I would say that daytime performance is "as expected" and nighttime performance is "below expectations". My night time image is much hazier than the other posted example so perhaps there is a defect with mine. I will upload photos so that you can see for yourself. It looks like the IR lights are reflecting into the lens in some way, as I can see the haziness go away when the IR lights go off in the morning.I will say it's pretty decent for the money (paid $39.99 and free shipping with Prime) - however, I am adding an additional camera and will be shopping for a better one.

I was shocked to see the quality of this camera seeing it was only $24 that's a deal! The pros are the vision is great. Its clear and the image stretches as for as 5 houses down my street that's still visibly clear...it;s some sort of metal, but so far weather resistant, but I worry about rust from rain later on...cons are not good for what I originally intended it for.The night vision is still very clear but not much color shows sort of grey but has a beaming light coming from the view on your monitor not outside. The cord is about the length of my forearm so putting it up outdoors is not inconspicuous which is what I wanted. You will have to buy the 100ft cord regardless on amazon for like $12 bucks. The amount of wires you'll need kind of is messy rather it'll be the 100ft. cord or extension socket cord... it's kinda in the way, depends on what you're looking for. Mounting is a pain seeing it comes pre assembled.. overall it does its job but for future upgraded purpose I would seek wireless camera.
