Definitely an upgrade
Hello everyone I really enjoy the experience with This vtx so far everything is working great I replaced it with the Akk ultimate and it went right in with the exact same plug. I noticed my range is further now I can fly further and my battery times are only slightly less I had figured they would be much less, but I was wrong, I had to remove the top sink because I could not get the lid on my drone, but I haven’t had any issues with heat so far at all. Running beta flight 4.2 with smart audio working with no issues. Thanks AKK

Works great with one flaw
Love that I can change the VTX power via smart audio. Appears to be working great with one problem: the microphone doesn't work. I wanted a microphone for the long range build I was doing specifically so I could hear the motor. But I am hearing numerous complaints that this manufacturer has not worked out the bugs on their microphones.

Easy to use
It displays the channel and band and power on a led counter, gets hot on 1w have not used 2w setting but installed a 5v on smaller heatsink and added a taller heatsink on the large pad i have it on an rc truck not my drone but if it was on my drone the vtx would be just perfect for long range analog flights

Great long range vtx
I have two of these. Zero complaints, it doesn't overheat and has great range for a bargain price.

Didn’t get more range
It works but the range is not as good as the 200w unit I’m using now. My RunCam starts loosing picture at 75 yards away. This might be good for a race quad. I wanted a higher wattage unit so maybe I could get better picture quality at 600 yards away. I’ve tried everything to get better picture with this unit with no luck. Used it on every wattage settings and still no good range. Just waisted time and money
