My Work has forever changed because of the Works provided by the Gallery of Magick. Just read my other reviews for their works to see. Because of this, this volume is, I feel, one not to be ingested until a Worker has built up faith and trust in their own processes. I tell you, had I not found success with other portions of my Work, the idea of servitors as presented by the Author would have seemed too simple, and I would not have been able to produce results.For me, a person steeped in the Western scientific "physical world only" tradition, I would not have been able to believe I could actually, truly Create Something that really Existed and that worked. I had to try the Words of Power. I had to try the Shem Angel magick. I had to feel the changes from the 72 Sigils. I had to seduce.The day this book came out, I read it's description and bought it with butterflies in my soul. I knew, if I pulled off what this book talked about, I would never, ever be the same. I also knew, if I failed, then I would experience a terrible disillusionment and a loss of faith in myself and how I perceive Reality.I read it. I denied its simplicity. I read it again, and my mind was filled with possibilities, ideas and events and purposes maybe even the occult community hasn't even thought up before. But how could they be achieved? How could it be so simple? I tabled the book for 2 weeks.My mind, my heart, my soul kept bringing this book back to my consciousness. "Screw it. I might as well try," said I.The results were precisely what I wanted, but the process of their realization blew my mind.The Author gives a formula for creating any servitor: designate its purpose, appearance, powers, timing, location, calling, and fatal flaw. Create its sigil. Empower it. You're done. He speaks to each of these concepts, advising and delineating boundaries. Defines problems. Encourages imagination.I would have understood it a year ago, but I never would have believed I could do it. I needed more time with my own successes. That's why I said it wasn't easy: not that the content was difficult, but that I needed to be ready to really commit.Be careful with this work. Change will come. Caveat emptor.

I was in a bit of a financial bind this week - namely, the rent was seriously late. I was hating life. I don't like to be late with my rent and I was saving every penny to get caught up.In saying this, I was a bit hesitant about creating a servitor under such a stressful situation. Damon often recommends that you don't lust after the results, and I was just about as lustful as they come. Lustful-for-rent-money was my middle name. Despite this feeling of desperation, I gave it go anyway.The servitor I created would help me get the remaining $650 I needed to pay the rest of the rent -- within 2 days. I'm self-employed so it's possible to earn big lump sums like this. But business had been super slow. My rationale mind wasn't 100% sold on the fact that I could get that money in a couple of days. But my magickal mind told me don't worry about 'how' the money comes. Just let the servitor do the work.Admittedly, I followed the steps in this book a little sloppily. I mean I rushed through it, but I gave what felt like a good emotional push. The servitor felt very real in my atmosphere.On Day 1, the day I created the servitor, I made $200. On Day 2, I made $460. The grand total... $660. The really crazy part is that one client tipped me $200 for my work. I'm a designer, and nobody tips a designer, let alone tips them $200 because they liked the work. That was the first time it ever happened, and I was shocked.I always felt like servitor magick would be a good fit for me, and apparently it is. Now that the rent is paid-in-full, I'm already thinking of my next servitor. And the next one. And the next one. (NY Times bestseller list, here I come!)

I am well on my way with my 4th official servitor, working towards my 5th. I would like to say that this publication adds a decent degree of insight into the nature of servitors and how to use them. It also does a great job of clearing up misconceptions about their use. Any way, I have other books on servitors and this manual will add quality insight into anyone's knowledge base about servitor use. One of the first servitors I created made its presence known to me a few days after its initial creation. It was quite a powerful even cosmic experience!! I just recently gave a task to my second servitor, who has been active for sometime. A process I usually use in the spiritual arts,known as the Middle Pillar Ritual, was combined while tasking the servitor. I housed the servitor in my forehead area when it was given life, and I could actually feel my forehead area tingling during the ceremony!! That let's me know that the insight that this manual gives on servitor management is quite decent,and well worth its salt!!

This was the first Gallery of Magic book that I purchased and within a few months I had bought nearly their entire collection. Servitor creation can be a tricky concept for the beginner but Damon Brand breaks it down into easy to use guidelines to help you get started and stay organized! If some of the concepts in this book seem a little advanced, then I highly recommend checking out Brand's book Words of Power or his associate Adam Blackthorne's book Sigils of Power and Transformation. Both are excellent, entry level books that make magic accessible to any student no matter their situation or resources. Getting started with those and then getting into more complex forms of magic is in my opinion a sure fire recipe for long term growth and success!

I have read this all through 3 times , and gone over sections just before I did create my first Servitor. I do have strong abilities anyway and created my first with a certain identity , you can make them Fairies , vampires whatever you choose! Just inform them of that spirits traits, abilities ect. I find it helps to actually find a picture online of what you want them to look like. Mine is so powerful its crazy, did not expect it to turn out so well really. I got one from someone online a few weeks ago, and its not as powerful as the one I have created. The more you put into them power wise the more they will need feeding , mine is daily as she requires lots of energy. This is an amazing book so well written , short but with all the info you need , so much better than a longer book that just repeats itself lol. I have so many plans for more this book will change your world

This book is both informative and exciting. Using an spiritual assistant you create to do your bidding is like employing an expert to advise you. Damon Brand is very much an author I respect. Good book worth the effort and time.

All you will ever need to know on the subject is in this book. I was initially doubtful such a small book could cover everything, but it absolutely does. This is a dense book which gets straight to the necessary information, cutting out any kind of superfluous waffle. I read it in one sitting and it was truly excellent.

This book is a fascinating read. I need to read it a couple of more times before I feel comfortable and confident about creating a Servitor. Although the book is quite short and very well written, since I suffered a stroke, it takes me a bit longer to digest information than before and so therefore I want to make sure I get the creating process right. I will try to update my review in the fullness of time.

The Gallery of magic books are a wonderful way to start your magic adventure.I bought this book for two main reasons.I am interested in creating Servitors, though much online info is too varied and confusing.And because I know that the GM's books get right to the point, presenting information and anecdotes together in a easy to read and learn format.Not tried the magic as of yet but I already know it will work.
