Thumbs UP. Esp if your hair is thin, limp, lifeless, and usually doesn't hold a curl
Used for the first time last night and I'm on board! I bought this for the express purpose of using it as a prep product to help make my hair stay in waves. This does it.To get waves, I go one of 2 ways: (A) use either a 1" barrel or (B) use the heatless roller things (Kitsch has them, and there's one that's like a bathrobe tie that works much better for me). Because my hair is fine, limp, and doesn't usually hold a curl, I got a tip to use a texture spray before curling, which worked really well until it stopped being sold on Amazon! So I trolled other reviews and found this. Here's how I used it:- had dry hair, washed prob 2 days prior- sprayed throughout my dry hair a moderate amount. i clipped up sections, sprayed a little, let another section down, etc.- i did not comb it through at that point, but i sprayed strategically enough to not make a ton of knots- i used the velvet headband curler thing and did the whole wrapping gig.- went to bed, took the headband thing out about 8 hours laterAssessment:My hair was not crispy, which I was really pleased by! It does have a weird salty texture (shouldn't be shocking) like the way your hair feels after you've spent an afternoon in the ocean. It DEFINITELY holds the waves, way better than if my hair had been wet instead. Honestly I suck at using the velvet headband curler thing because I don't practice enough, and this product erased my poor learning curve. I combed out the waves with a wide-tooth comb because the salty texture was a bit too much to run my fingers through. I do still feel the salty texture post-comb, but not in a way that bothers me and it looks pretty natural. It also feels (and looks!) like my hair has a ton of body (pssst. it's actually super thin and lifeless).I obviously haven't tested it yet, but I do actually think these waves will hold through today and tomorrow, even if I sleep on them. And that's pretty mindblowing for me.I will definitely be hanging on to this product. It has made it into the sacred echelon of liquids I choose to have in mini spray bottles in the piddly 1 Qt ziplock for carry-on travel.

Nice texturizing spray
I recently had my hair cut in a pixie and have been watching a lot of YouTube videos to see how to style it. One video used this salt texturizing spray, so I bought it. Smells wonderful, gives a slight texture so my hair doesn’t just lay flat. My hair is thick and coarse, I also need to use hairspray or a wax for hold. I would purchase this again.

2A Hair Girl
I'm finally coming around and trying to work with my natural wave pattern. I have fine hair, but a LOT of it. And it has always dried frizzy with an awkward, not quite straight shape. Too wavy for 1A type, but not quite wavy enough for 2A.Because I like to keep my hair long also means it tends to look a little shapeless and flat at the roots, plus gets oily suuuuper quickly. By day 2, typically. Now that I'm embracing what little natural wave pattern I have, I was hopeful about trying a sea salt spray in combination with an air dry curl cream. There's not a whole lot of difference as far as amplifying the texture I have, but I will say, the sea salt spray does make a difference in how "lively" it looks once it's dry! Everything is more smooth than using the curl cream alone, and it feels like it has a bit of bounce. Which is crazy on mid-back length fine hair O_O.Not the results I was originally hoping for, but I'm very pleased at how polished my hair looks without needing to actually style it!

Good non-toxic hairspray
It has a good hold. The scent is pleasant. Great for curly and wavy hair. It washes out well. But before washing, it leaves a sticky residue, like when you get ocean water in your hair, basically. Over all, I'm very pleased with it. It also works well with styling tools like straighteners etc, though it leaves a dusty residue. But that can be wiped off easily.

Leaking issue. The bottle is not perfect.
The quality of the bottle is not perfect . The bottle is leaking. The product itself is good. I would use it if they would do a replacement without me spending time for a return.

Great for Curls!
Great product.! Gives hair a little body and lift without all the bad stuff. Good for soft hold and natural curl - just the right amount of texture with no stickiness. Fast delivery and easy transaction!

Great on my pin straight hair
This is the first product that has worked on my medium-fine straight hair. I apply on mostly dry/barely damp hair, scrunch a bit then air dry the rest, and that works the best for me.Waves last all day but aren't crunchy or sticky, and it smells great, I got the ocean waves event. Will keep purchasing.

works on straight hair too, both damp and dry uses
My hair is stick straight but I wanted a messy look with a short bob cut I just got. This works really well. I've used it when my hair is damp and I'm going to style it straight. With approx 5-6 sprays around my hair, it's kept the hair kind of messy looking as it dried. I've also added curl or waves to my hair and then applied the texture spray and it has given it a tossled look. More than just a hair spray would give because it's almost kept strands from blending back together smooth. If that makes sense.
