Let me start out by saying I've had percolators for years and needed to downsize. This makes a great cup of coffee. For those who complain about grounds they make filters for that. I get the wrap around and they work perfectly no grounds. It is a little loud but for a good cup of coffee it's worth it. I will say it's the perfect size for those who don't want a lot of coffee or who live alone.

This method of brewing coffee has a reputation for being outdated. I've read remarks over the years that percolator coffee produces burnt, bitter coffee. Surely all of the more recently developed methods for a *regular cup of joe* are superior. I didn't get this for coffee (you can make tea in this), but my mom wanted to make coffee the minute she saw it. She said she had a 12-cup of the same back in the day and used it for years. She liked it very much, but got taken with the trend of using a then-newfangled automatic drip coffee maker. After adjusting the coffee bean grinder to coarse and giving this percolator a try, I was stunned at how smooth and hot this coffee turned out! Not only is it piping hot, it stays that way for far longer than any other home brewing method. The percolator automatically stops brewing in a reasonably short time and keeps the coffee warm. You can hear the transition from one function to another. In light of this, it seems the legend of percolator coffee being burnt and bitter might stem from using a stovetop model that's un- or under-attended🤷🏻‍♀️My mom lamented that unlike this unit, older models of Farberware percolators had a little red light to indicate brewing. Would be nice if that feature made a comeback. I also appreciate that I don't need as much coffee grounds to brew tasty coffee; your results may vary. I'm fed up with pod brewers that last 1.5 years before needing replacement. I'm also trying to get away from the plastic that most any drip method has. There's no glass to break here, which is a plus. If this splendid little coffee maker lasts longer than that bulky water pump sitting in my kitchen, what a reclaim of counter space that would be! That is, if you're willing to clean the percolator after it's just cooled down. The main body can't go in the dishwasher (the inner components can). The kettle must be carefully washed by hand to avoid getting the electrics wet. That's a dealbreaker for many. If you don't mind that, and the durability proves to be impressive, this percolator will make you a hot, classic cuppa joe.

It's a good little pot, a little small if you drink a large cup of coffee but otherwise okay it's so cute. I like the percolator taste, it beats the regular coffee makers.

Hands down, makes the best cup of coffee I've had. I never used a percolator before I bought this one and it does have a slight learning curve (had to adjust my measurements - I use a bit more grounds than in a drip coffee maker). As the other reviews say, this does brew at a higher temperature than drip or a Keurig style coffee machine, which is great for me as I use a ton of creamer - it is still very hot after adding. I wish it had auto shut-off or even an "off" button, but so far I've remembered to unplug it after I'm done. It's easy to take apart and clean up once it's cooled down a bit. It takes up very little space on my counter (I mean it is tiny) so would be great for anyone lacking counter space. I get 2 big cups of coffee plus a bit more out of it. The stainless steel is very sleek and shiny. As long as it's plugged in, your coffee will stay hot although I do recommend unplugging no more than 30 minutes after you brew so your coffee doesn't get scorched. After it's unplugged coffee stays hot for at least an hour. I have noticed a speck or two of grounds does make its way into the pot but considering how delicious it brews that is no problem at all in my opinion. It cost less than my drip coffee machine did too. This was one of the best purchases I've made in a long time, highly recommend!

I bought this coffee maker to take on vacation to a hours that didn’t have Keurig . I tried it before going and Wow! That was a great cup of coffee. I haven’t used anything else since. It’s easy to clean, keeps the coffee warm, and doesn’t take up much space. I love it.

This little percolator is my new favorite gadget. I grind my own beans and it makes the best coffee in the whole wide world! It’s such a fun little thing…makes the perfect amount of coffee for me. Has Keurig beat and it’s less expensive by far! You can actually have a real strong cup of coffee and the aroma of the fresh brewed that fills the house brings back memories when life was peaceful❤️

El producto es perfecto, tamaño, calidad, et cetera. La persona que lo entrego no tiene consciencia. Tiraron la caja encima del pared de 4 metros al patio. No tocaron el timbre, aunque hay noticia en la puerta "por favor, toque el timbre". Estuve en casa con puertas y ventanas abiertas. Me alegra que la decision tirar la caja no rompio la cosa a dentro.

Difficulty removing the lid of the pot. There was no on and off switch on product and no indication with a light telling you the product was on or off unless you went to the main switch. The product was more like tin than stainless steel and had a very weak plastic handle. The product came with an American electrical connection and not a British connection with plug. This was not in the advert of the product. The product would not work with a British electrical connection that we had to buy and so would not heat up the water in the percolator which looked more like a tin kettle. We have to pay postal costs to send this product back to America which was also not in the advert of the product. Altogether a terrible purchase and a waste of one's time.

This is a nice-looking little percolator, but I didn't know when I bought it that it comes from the US with an American plug. In order to use it in the UK, I would have to buy a transformer for nearly £100. In order to send it back and get a refund, I would have to pay the extortionate postage to America. I feel I've been comprehensively fooled. I'm angry. Don't buy from this seller.
