Great for glasses. Should have bought years ago.
I had always refrained from buying this mask, as the mesh over the mouth area always made me think it wouldn’t be warm enough. It can sometimes be an issue when it’s super windy outside, but other than that it’s a non-issue. I should have tried it years ago. This mask is pretty great for glasses wearers. If you hike the mask to the top of your nose and have the glasses nosepiece/bridge rest on the mask, you get a decent seal. My glasses remain fog-free most of the time. Not perfect, but better than anything else I’ve tried.I would love to see a version of this with a pocket for metal nosestrips, but it’s remains the best balaclava I’ve found for wearing with glasses, so far. I’ve worn this all winter, most days, and have washed it as well. I bought another to keep as a spare. It stretched out to fit my 7-3/4 head and longish hair.I wish the neck part was longer and flared at the end, but it’s not a deal-breaker.Recommend.

I bought this as armor against wasps....
I bought this balacava specifically to take care of a nest of wasps outside on my deck... I work this with a pair of ski goggles I bought, secured with duct tape to try and prevent the wasps from stinging me.After I was secure, my roomie went and hid in the hallway outside my apartment, while I walked to the balcony. I won't lie, even with all those clothes and tape over me, I was still a little apprehensive... I needed to retrieve some items from the storage closet out there, and they had to be removed TODAY. I opened the sliding door, and immediately saw the wasps become agitated. A few were buzzing close, but I felt nothing as I closed the sliding door behind me fast, and looked to glass door, as I saw that the "few" were in fact quite a lot. But fortunately, I felt nothing. If they were stinging or biting me, it was doing nothing.I stepped back to a corner, and turned. The wasps had made their nest inside a corner of the balcony, and they meant business. Well so did I. I broke the safeties on the two cans of raid, and aimed at the nest. It was almost like the wasps knew what was coming as suddenly they all began to try and leave all at once. But it was too late.My fingers pressed the buttons on the top of the RAID cans, and I gave that nest both barrels of specifically designed wasp poison. I saw multiple fall to the ground immediately, as the wasps buzzing around me, and near the nest immediately began to flee. Wasps crawled out of the hole of the nest, but they were already dying.I took the next few minutes to not only soak the nest itself, but also taking shots at wasps that returned, thinking it might be safe. They were wrong as they would get hit by a stream of death, falling either to the grass three stories below, or to the balconey where they would walk for a few seconds, before curling up, succumbing to the chemical warfare I was inflicting upon them.Satisfied with the carnage, I opened the balconey closet, and took the items I had stored in it. A mountain bike I rarely use, a bike rack, and a chainsaw my mother gave me. As I left the graveyard that was once my balcony, a sly wasp decided it was the perfect opportunity for itself, and followed me inside. However, it soon realized its mistake as the door shut, the bike put aside, and the barrel of one of the cans pointed at it.The poor guy tried to escape, but alas, the glass door was an impenetrable force field as a blast of a combination of Tetramethrin, Cypermethrin and Imiprothrin smashed it against the wall, it fell dramatically to the carpet, twitching pathetically, alone from it's family and comrades on a fools suicide mission. One might ask, reading this tale of minor genoicide.... Should I have felt guilty for killing so many of them, when all I was doing was grabbing my bike and chainsaw? The answer is no, and here is why. My aforementioned room mate, who hid as the one-sided battle between the tiny bugs, and the Goliath of poison death raged on.... Well... He is allergic to wasps, and had been stung twice just three days earlier. His wounds still have not fully healed... This was not about entertainment, or necessity... This was an attack of revenge... And I would do it again, if they weren't all dead by now.So... In short, this mask did the job perfectly...

Warm & Comfortable
It's definitely warm as described however it fits just a little too big around the mouth/nose area for me. I would like it to fit a little more snug especially since the option is there for you to pull it up and down. Having it pulled down for a while stretches it out even more to when you pull it back up it feels even more loose around the mouth/nose area.

If you run or bike in the Winter BUY THIS
I have been using this product for the past 5 months in temps that average around 17 degrees Fahrenheit with about an 8 degree windchill. The warmest I have used it in has been 32 degrees and the coldest has been -29 degrees.I ride my bicycle to work every day and I run outdoors year round. In the Winter once the temps dropped below 30 degrees I found that my face was always feeling numb and my mouth and lungs hurt as I did my activities outdoors. I then started covering my face with a bandana but after about 6 minutes of heavy breathing, the bandana gets soaked. It also only provides a covering from the wind and not any extra warmth. I knew that I should be looking for an item of clothing called a balaclava. I selected this one on Amazon based on the price and the quantity of reviews. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the purchase. So much so that I bought an additional one! Wow!So when I ride my bike and run, this thing gets HOT. If the temp is above 15 degrees I usually end up getting so warm I have to take it off after awhile! I absolutely love the mesh part around the mouth because it does a great job of blocking air so I don’t feel the burn from breathing in frigid air yet it allows enough airflow that it doesn’t get completely drenched from the humid air of my breath. Having that sets it apart from all other ways of covering my mouth. While it does get a little moist around the mouth after about 15 minutes it is nowhere near as bad as if you had just used a regular piece of cloth for covering. This balaclava was the missing link in my life and now I can freely walk and move around in the cold and I don’t even notice it! The fitment around the eyes is perfect for my size of face leaving very little skin exposed.I decided to take a vacation to Denali National Park in January and I was excited to bring the balaclava along to see how it would fare. Needless to say it kept me safe and warm as I was out hiking in negative temperatures! When properly bundled up in Winter gear, I felt completely safe and warm from the cold air around me. If it works in Alaska in the Winter then it will probably work great for you wherever you live. 100% would buy again, 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
