Fast As You Can

This was the song that introduced me into the world of the wonderful fiona apple. It has everything you could possibly want from a song, fabtastic lyrics such as 'my pretty mouth will frame the phrases that will disprove your faith in man' which clearly illustrate how good a song writer she is with her brilliantly deep lyrics that elevate her above any other singer-songwriter in the charts (anyone who has listened to her album's could only agree) her fabulous rich voice and of course the melody of the song that will stay in your head for days (and thats a good thing)on the single you also get a live version of her song 'never is a promise' taken from her first album 'tidal' this 6.25 minute long masterpiece lets you hear her piano playing that could rival even Tori Amos and anyone who isnt moved by that song honestly must have a heart of stone as it is simply one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Also included is her version of the Beatles song 'Across the Universe' and she really does breathe new life into this song with her wonderfull voice. Overall if you like your music to mean something then Fiona Apple is the singer you want to be listening to and this song is an excellent inroduction to her. I could compare her to people like Tori Amos as many do but she really is in a league of her own so if you want to find out what she sounds like your just gonna have to buy this song and i guarantee you wont be disappointed.
