Very happy.My initial review is below but now I've had this a bit it's even more impressive. The video quality is astonishing. Super clear and very wide angle. Can read license plates very easy...even a car whipping by going the opposite direction. I attached on of the videos. Not Amazon reduces the size of the video so what you see above is not the a quality when you play on your PC or MAC. I also posted a single frame of video...crystal clear.Initial Review: Installed this on my 2008 Avalon so I could get a back up camera. Friends did similar with the mirror replacement that gives you the tiny rear view in the mirror...on this system the rear view is the entire mirror. Love this system much more than my 7" screen Sante Fe rear view camera system that is standard on the car from the factory. Install was easy, cord you run from camera on license plate to mirror is a little short so you have to plan the most efficient route. I attached photos of the installed system but could not get a good photo of the clarity of the rear view camera. It is incredibly clear and being the entire mirror...so large and easy to see! Mirror works great at night and day, view is good and cleans easily. Date, Date and Time is a nice feature. Delivered fast with easy to understand and implement instructions. Glad I got it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This touch screen dash cam is an upgrade to the small one I had before, I did not expect it to be so good as in fact is, the picture quality is amazing even during the night time, the back up camera is great for parking in busy roads and tight spaces, specially if you are used to a drive way like me, I used to take forever to park in tight spaces, now I can do it way more efficiently !Looks: it looks great and do expect compliments, the temperature and time on the mirror becomes super handy, I do not have to check my cell phone for the time anymore.Safety first: 170 wide angle lens works in very cold and very hot weather, if there is an accident it will lock the video and saves it in case you need it!I made a video showing how to connect it , please let me know if my video and review were useful to you.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Buying this dash camera for my mom in-law, because she always hits something while backing up her corolla (sometime sidemirror sometime rear bumper).I was thinking to buy her a rearview camera and probably she need a dash camera as well. Then find R10 that could do both--One stone two birds.Build quality: The camera is very good build. Camera comes with a solid and heavy 2.5A charger, you can feel it from its weight.Installation: Installation is not difficult, but it takes time. The cable is long enough for her corolla, still have some extra. Be sure connect red wire to reverse light, or back up camera won’t automatically on. Here I strip reverse light cable and twisted red wire with reverse light cable. Don’t forget use electric tap to secure it.Camera Setup: It is super easy to setup the camera, I turn off parking mode and Motion detection. Front view camera/Rear View camera 1080P/720PVideo quality: The front-view camera video quality is outstanding at day time, till now this is the one of the best video quality I have ever seen. Haven’t try night vision yet, will report later. Rear view camera could set up to 1080P, but I suggest keep default setting 720P. (you could set front view camera or rearview camera to 1080P, but at the same time the other camera must set to 720P)Here are a few things that you may need to know:• Camera works good with San Disk 64GB micro SD card, even if specs say it works up to 32GB. A 64GB micro SD card give me a little more than 7 hours recording time.• It has a 3.5mm GPS antenna input, but you need to buy additional GPS module. I don’t want to add it now, but good to have an upgrade option.• Rearview camera has much wider view angle than stock rearview mirror. You will find out that right/left rear pillar or rear headrest won’t block you vision anymore. Upload a video, you can tell the different, and my mom in law really loves this featureHere is down side that you may not like this dash camera:• It is very easy to leave finger print on the mirror screen, and you may have to clean it up every few days.My father in law always has a hard time to accept new tech things. After seeing rearview camera function, he asked to get him one.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I can't say enough bad stuff about this camera. First, the line going to the backup camera is only 15'. That's useless for a full size vehicle, it's short by at minimum 5 feet. I emailed them about it, and it took them 2 days to respond, then every single day they would ask one question and wait for a response, instead of asking all the questions. Finally, after 12 days of emailing back and forth, they said that the [email protected] email address I used was the wrong one! I guess they can somehow get emails to different departments with the same exact address. Anyway, a day after that I was driving the truck and the front camera and display started doing this. If you are wondering how I hooked up the rear camera without having a long enough cord initially, I ran it into the back passenger compartment and then straight to the camera. My truck is high, and having a backup camera when driving for a small single jet ski trailer is really helpful. I had my son film the video of the camera acting up, and when I got home I submitted a request for return. I bought a different branded version of the camera this time (which appears to be different, albeit very similar) and it is working good so far. At least it included a 26' cable for full size vehicles.

I had ordered 2 cams. The one I already received tested without installation except reverse case. After installation once checked reverse display, its always blank once car started. I have to manually restart the device to get it working. Means, once car started and put reverse, display will be blank. If manually powered off and restarted camera, it will start the reverse camera feedback. It seems like a software glitch. I am trying to reach the customer care as I have already done the wiring and paid for that. I want to know whether display device can only be exchanged instead of complete wires and back cam and all. Cancelled the other order because of the defect with first one. Other than this software glitch that makes me to restart cam once car started, its a good one with widescreen, touchscreen and the clarity. If this issue resolved, I will give 5 stars....

Waste of money!! Have to turn it off everytime I want to switch views between front and back!! Does not loop record - I have to delete the files manually for it to record again. Back camera is useless if the roads do not have bright street lighting. On dark roads all you see is the brightness of the headlights of other vehicles - big splashes of bright light and it’s difficult to make out the vehicle itself!! Biggest disadvantage? Can’t view recording on the phone or through an app!! View on screen or remove SD card and view on other devise like phone or tablet etc

Searched almost every dashcam mirror available out there , finally got this for my xuv300 , installed it myself , rear camera is cube shaped so i fixed that in stock oem place and made it horizontal so that it covers full road. Saw its reviews , they were good .Pros-excellent camera qualityScreen is bright and look awesomeEasy to use as no extra stuff thereEasy to installNot too much expensiveNo software glitches at allCONS:No wifi Or any app connected so u have to depend on memory card to get recordings .Its a good purchase and i am happy with my decision . EDIT: after using it for 6 months almost, it does not turns on when i start the car , so i tried to pull off its power cable and plug back in , it turns on like this for two days and now its almost dead like , it works one time hardly in a day like that , software issue for sure but there is no software flashing or else support

I am using this for almost 3 weeks now.It is really easy to setup the mirror using the rubber strap. In the box there are 4 rubber strap but you need only 2 of them to hook it to the original car mirror. Front camera lens is placed behind the mirror and can be pulled out to adjust the view.This dash cam will do a dual(front & rear) recording which will cover almost 310 degree surrounding your car. Quality of the video is really impressive. Touch screen of the mirror works flawlessly and you can toggle the front and back camera view by a single touch.The recorded video files are well organized in the SD card(bought separately) under the folder named F(front cam) and R(Rear cam).Overall this dash cam works great!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I love this dashcam, reasons below,1. simple and easy installation for the mirror dashcam, the rear requires some work but manageable.2. dummy settings, this dashcam has already pre-set most of the setting to provide the best image quality. The only things that you able to adjust is travealasp recording, length of the recording and turning it on and off of G-sensor and parking monitor. Very user friendly especially for people who don't know much about video recording.3. touch screen works great, very responsive! No issues at all, and it has anti-glare for comfort driving, very handy for basic model cars.4. Great image quality either day/night and all recorded files are sorted nicely, I suppose that is why you need to format the memory card with the dashcam itself. So the files know which folder it belongs to.5. The pull out camera lens comes in very handy! I don’t expect my rare mirror to be wide but I actually needs to pull out the camera lens to ensure the recording view doesn’t get blocked!All in all, this is one great dashcam, I would recommend people to buy for sure.
