The first cam opener did not work. I'm very impressed with the way Amazon handled the return and the replacement of the can opener. Very efficient.

When I used it 6 times - each time was difficult - Doesn’t work well - gets stuck - doesn’t grab can - I had another one worked effortlessly- this one is not made well.

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I love this handy jar-opener for the obvious reason that it opens some jars that in the past we almost pulled muscles in trying to get them open. But it's also just downright entertaining. I've attached a little video demonstrating. Here's what we like about it:1) Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use.2) It works!3) The instructions are decent.4) It's not tiny, but it does fit pretty compactly in a small-ish drawer.5) As mentioned, it's actually entertaining to watch.Here's what we don't like:1) It requires 2 AA batteries that aren't included. Not a big deal, and I'm not deducting stars because the seller clearly states that in the description.2) It does take a bit to get used to how to position it on the jar, but it's not difficult. Just takes getting used to.3) You can see how in the video it looks like, "It's not doing anything!" Then bloop! All of a sudden, the lid's off. Needs more power - have to help the motor manually. Not so easy to get on and not so easy to get off - had a little trouble and have to f with it some, but it will come off.

Keeps slipping of the item. Doesn't work all the time.

I ordered this because I have been having a lot of rest pain and needed help with getting jars open. I took it out of the box excited to give it a try but sadly it was disappointing to use. It’s very large and bulky and simply not easy to use. You would think with only having two buttons it would be simple but it really was not. After getting frustrated I asked my husband to come in and try and help me because he usually figures out things when it’s complicated and even he was struggling to figure out how to get the buttons to work properly. Lastly when we did get the buttons to close around the jar lid it took forever. It was so slow that I’d much rather just asked somebody to help me or use one of the countertop jar openers which is a lot simpler even though it requires a little bit more space. So needless to say we returned it the next day.

A bit tricky to start the opener on the can but works well when you catch on. I bought one for myself and one for my aunt because we both have arthritis. Our manual openers because too difficult to use and we didn’t want the tradition can opener cluttering our counters tops.

This gadget does a great job. and never fails once you learn how to operate it. Batteries last a long time.
