Love to use this as a conducting gel with my Jenu Ultrasonic Infuser. The actual conducting Gel for Jenu gets too dry too fast and you have to wash it off.

Too soon to tell. Poor instructions on how to use. No return label or option. I think I have buyer's remorse

Did not do ANYTHING to my lips but put a little shiny gloss on them. Waste of money.

JeNu Active Youth Lip serum is for use with the JeNu Ultrasonic system, which I do not have. That said, the lip serum in itself is quite nice and far better than most lip products I've ever put on my lips. After using it daily for a week, I begun enjoying smoother, silkier lips and even some plumping action. It is not a chapstik type product, neither is it a lip gloss, though it may appear that way. This is a lip conditioning serum to be used directly on lips to make them look better and feel healthier.What I like about JeNu's lip serum:+ Noticeable results after using daily for a week. Despite not having the JeNu application wand, this lip serum is still able to offer me benefits that I like. I have noticed an overall improvement to the texture and skin of my lips. My lips feel smoother and softer after 3 days. After a week, I've actually begun feeling my lips plumping. Nothing exaggerated, but I feel it and I like it.+ A little bit goes a long way. Take a few extra seconds to massage it into the lips to make up of not having an ultrasonic wand applicator.+ No scent whatsoever.+ There is no flavor added, but it does have a very mild lip balm taste to it.+ It's not made with petroleum jelly as one of the main ingredients.Jenu advertises that "All JeNu products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, triclosans, phthalates, or GMOs." I looked up the ingredients, many of which have a fancy chemical-like name, in JeNu's lip serum. This is what I was able to find out using Bing search and the TruthInAging.com website.+ The primary ingredient for this lip serum is hydrogenated polyisobutene: It "is a synthetic oil that is used as a mineral oil substitute. It is an emollient & moisturizer, and prevents water loss."+ Isopropyl palmitate: A moisturizer and skin conditioner that is usually derived from coconuts.+ Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer: A stabilizer, helps increase viscosity.- Styrene Ethylene Butylene Styrene copolymer. I wasn't able to find much of anything on this ingredient other than it's a substitute for PVC in baby toys like teething rings.+ Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil and Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oils. Both well known and loved beauty agents.+ Polymethylsilsesquioxane: A silicone product used for lubrication that give an item a smooth silky feel.+ Phenoxyethanol: a preservative known for having antiseptic qualities while being non-irritating. (Other studies show that it can aggravate the skin/eyes. Not sure what to think of this ingredient.)+ Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate: A moisturizer that helps to give a smooth look.+ Tocopheryl Acetate: AKA Vitamin E, a natural skin-conditioning agent and antioxidant.+ Ethylhexylglycerin: Works as a surfactant and preservant enhancer.+ Sorbitan Isostearate: An emulsifier.+ Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract: An emollient.+ Retinyl Palmitate: A version of Vitamin A that is preferred for sensitive skin. It is also used as a plumping agent and to help increase collagen production.+ Ceramide 2: A conditioning agent. "Ceramides are a family of lipid compounds that occur naturally in skin cells. Ceramides are a very important part of a healthy skin barrier. Ceramide 2 has a substantial water-binding capacity and therefore helps to moisturize skin."+ Portulaca Pilosa Extract: A plant extract used for skin conditioning.+ Sucrose Cocoate: Natural hydrophilic emollient & moisturizer made of sucrose esters of coconut fatty acid (sugar beets & coconut oil).+ Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: "A stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, used in cosmetics, personal care products and anti-aging products because of its ability to increase collagen levels, reduce melanin production, brighten skin, and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage"+ Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38: An "amino acid chain has demonstrated the ability to increase the production of six highly important dermal and epidermal components" of collagen 1, 3, 4, fibronectin (assists in tissue repairs and more), hyaluronic acid (proper water retention in tissue, helps heal), laminin 5 (helps heal cells).While the price for this lip serum is not cheap, after researching the ingredients and seeing the benefits myself of using JeNu's lip serum, I will likely buy this again even without owning the wand. It's more than a typical waxy lip balm, offers noticeable benefits, but it still within an affordable/doable price range.

This is an acceptable gloss, but the price is pretty steep for what you get. I do not have the wand to try it with since it was not offered with the gloss, so I am reviewing the gloss on its own. I use Lip Fusion gloss products and REALLY like them for fuller lips instantly. The pigments are perfect and the results make me happy. This JeNu gloss is like Sally Hansen's Lip plumper, I assume it works much better with the wand. I do not know how long the wand activates the plumping for, but I imagine you wouldn't want to waste this gloss by using it without the wand. As it is wantless, it feels nice and works ok, but for the price it should work better on its own. I will not be purchasing this when the sample runs out.

This lip serum is fun to use. I'm not sure exactly what it's doing, but it does seem to make a difference. I'm usually pretty skeptical of these sorts of things so I was pleasantly surprised.Note I don't have the wand, so I was using this as a lip balm only.Things I like:- No taste. The instructions say to apply a 'generous layer' to the wand, so I applied a generous layer to my lips instead -- and ended up with a REALLY generous layer. When I rubbed my lips together I expected to be overwhelmed with some kind of horrible taste, but it is not so. If I concentrate, I can taste a kind of something, but for the most part this stuff has no taste or odor. I like my flavored chapsticks well enough, but with gels I actually prefer this a lot more.- Made my lips feel plump. I can't explain it. It's a first.Things I don't like:- Limited instructions. Nothing that says how often to apply.- The price. If you are applying a generous amount of this stuff every day, .47 oz is not going to last long. Also, I can't tell if this is supposed to have a lasting effect, and if so, how long it's supposed to last.I enjoy using this JeNu lip serum. If the price doesn't scare you away, I recommend trying it.
