I LOVE these and so does my brat dog
These are freakin awesome! I still use papertowels when I need to absorb grease from food. But I use these cloths for everything else I would nornally have used for cleaning. The packaging indicates that the cloth and packaging itself are both compostable. It is a product of Germany so rest assured, it is NOT manufactured in China. I like to use these around the sink and line them in areas where there is a lot of water drippage, like under the faucet knob. Some of the cloths might have white streaks in them but it doesn't affect the absorbency at all. Its just the way the fibers were mixed during production. I've washed mine multiple times in the washer and they hold up well. The packaging does indicate that you should not put them in the dryer. I accidentally threw them in the dryer the 2nd time I washed them and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrank, they were still useable and still absorbed liquid just fine. They are very absorbent and strong so they're a perfect replacement for papertowels for use on cleaning duties like scrubbing the stovetop or microwave (I use dishsoap and water). They don't disintegrate like a papertowel would, they don't leave behind bits of paper or lint, they dry quickly (but not flat) when you wring them out completely, they're much easier to wring out than a dishtowel, they rinse out any debris extremely easily, they're larger than the more expensive printed styles which brings me to my last point which is that they're cheap! At close to just 1 dollar and some change, they are significantly less expensive than the designer cute printed cloths advertised as Swedish Dish Clothes. I was gifted one a few yrs ago with a lovely gnome design on it. I didn't actually start using until recently and noticed that it was much smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there's no point in paying more for a cleaning cloth when you can get it cheaper. Plus, if you have a dog like mine, you might be replacing them every so often. My dog has nabbed two clothes so far because she's a brat and think its OK to use them as chew toys LOL I ordered 4 packs two months ago and I just ordered 3 more packs today since I like having a giant pile before I do kitchen laundry.

Best Price..Cheerful color...Easy Cleanups
These are my favorite! Best price and one swipe and the countertop shines! Durability is also the advantage over paper towels. Have one in the kitchen and each bathroom for easy clean ups! The ones I received were a minty green and the color I like working with also. Other brands include a color assortment which includes a dull gray. These are the best..or price & color.

Great item
Love these - you can throw them in the wash and then you’re using something clean each time

Wrings out easily and absorbs well. Size is a little small
So far, these work as a good alternative to paper towels. They absorb fluids well and wring out really nicely. They have a bit of scrub to them, which worked well when wiping down tables and the sink. I washed one once, and they do come out stiff (I air-dryed, per the instructions). I'll trying to lay them flat next time instead of hanging on the line so I can store them more easily. I find they are a bit small - I would like them to be about twice as big. When wringing them out, it's hard to get a grip to wring them.

Effecitve, durable and handy
These do a really good job washing the most delicate items as well as scrubbing off hard, baked-on food. They're easy to handle and clean up really well just by running them through the dishwasher or laundry. I feel like they are way more durable, and therefore, a better overall value than traditional sponges. Highly recommend.

Far better than an "average" sponge
Update, September 8, 2019: It has been a few months and I'm still using my first three sponges (rotating them in and out of the weekly clothes wash. They are really great for the fact that they'll clean really well, and then rinse out almost everything they just cleaned (not like original sponges that always seem to look dirty. The pictures here are after I cleaned the inside of my oven after a burned on spill and how it looks after I washed it with my regular dishwashing soap (Palmolive). There's a tiny bit of a stain left but it comes out in the washing machine. It also cleans up the same after cleaning up blueberry or cherry pie filling. Original review: I REALLY (really) like these If You Care "sponges". They're more like they say, a cloth.... or like a washcloth, but much much better... enter the sponge part of it. They are very absorbant and hold more water than an average sponge (this sponge cloth=1/3 cup, average sponge=1/4 cup). I have never liked the feel of a wash "rag" either, so I wasn't sure how this would go. Well, the cleaning ability I was given was better than before. Because they have a much larger total surface area than an average household sponge, these cloths make doing dishes a lot quicker and easier (these measure 8x6.75 inches or 20x17cm and are about 54sq inch/340sq cm. The area of an average sponge is around 14.25sq inch/90sq cm-with a measurement of 4.75x3in/12x7.5cm. Basically, they're almost 4x's the size). I noticed this especially when washing glasses, because it pretty much encased the entire glass, both the interior and exterior. Then moving on to the plates, etc got easier even so. By far, the BEST PART (next to them being 100% natural and compostable) of these sponges is that they RINSE CLEAN SUPER EASILY!! I cannot stand picking up a dank, sour smelling sponge because a small bit of soap was left in it....icky! If this one is full of a large squirt of soap, I only need to wring it three, maybe four times and ABSOLUTELY ALL of the soap comes out. That alone will save water too.... total win/win/win so far! The package states that each cloth replaces 15 rolls of paper towels and can be machine washed up to 300 times. I haven't gotten that far yet, but definitely will update here as my first one wears down. Lastly, I always read reviews to learn from others how they like or dislike a product, and I love to help people myself (I was a nurse). I am also not compensated for my honesty. If my review has proven to be valuable to you please click so below. It helps me to know if I should keep on doing what I'm doing. Thanks everybody... and definitely get yourself some of these! This is one product that is a great buy on Amazon. *I almost forgot--- the plastic bag these come in can be recycled too. Add it to the other plastic bags whenever you take them in. If you google/search it, you'll find there are many items that can be added to the recycled grocery bags, even if you use your own (ie: the plastic used to mold different products to cardboard,so they can be displayed). Everything needs to be clean and dry though! You can also search/google for places, if needed

Best sponge replacement!!
Perfect for washing dishes as a replacement for a sponge. They dry quickly and don't smell. You can wash them in the washing machine if needed or if they get stained. They don't scratch your dishes but does get them clean. They also work well for wiping counters. You will save money on paper towels. Buy the Skoy Scrub cloths for scrubbing they're wonderful too.

Very absorbent for spills and splashes. Dries fast. So far hasn't stained. Just don't be me and forget to take them out of the washer before switching to the dryer - they still work if they've been in the dryer but they are a LOT smaller (my own fault, didn't read the instructions). I think i would like them a bit more if they were a bit larger but they are adequate for everything I do in the kitchen (washing dishes, washing counters and sink, cleaning up spills). I like that they are natural. It's only been a week so far so I don't know how they'll stand up over time. I'll come back and edit my review in a few months. (Review by Geebs' Wife)

I have bought these cloths for several years. They are extremely absorbent and can be washed in the washing machine many times. They arrived very promptly from the seller and I will certainly order from them again.

FAZIT: Absolut empfehlenswert!
