I keep this table central to the living room, between a couch and loveseat on either side. My kids like to sit at the nested stools, to play board games, eat snacks and watch TV. When the kids arent using the stools, they make excellent footstools, too.My only complaint would be that I had to choose between having a version of this table with a glass top (the Marion) or a version with a wooden top but without padding on the stools (the Johurst.) Because I have small children, the safer wood top would have been preferable. But because the stools that come with the Johurst would have been less comfortable, we went with the Marion. However, the glass insert does lift right out--so in the event that my one year-old decides he wants to bang on it routinely, it will be very easy to run into Lowes or Home Depot for a sheet of plywood to temporarily cut and stain to fit the space, until the kids are old enough for the glass top again.For now, the glass top has caused a few minor heart attacks for mom, but is sturdy enough and remains where it is. The piece is handsome, and I have received plenty of compliments on it already!

Pictures shows a heavily built table and chairs... and yep for ONCE that is what you get! Great set. Love it!! Chairs support even big - full-size adults (they are just low to the ground... great for younger people). Packaging is excellent... no issues at all! Shipping is freight style and thus... you need to have another person help you bring inside the house since delivery will leave it outside. I would easily recommend this to anyone. My wife and I just recently had a party... our guests all complimented us on the new coffee table for its looks and functionality.

I have looked at this coffee table for several years and I finally ordered it. My family likes to put their feet up when sitting on the sofa. This coffee table/foot stool combination is just what I was looking for. It went together easily and works well in my living room. Glad I finally ordered it.

This coffee table was easy to install. The only annoying part is that you have to do the same thing 4 times for the stools, but my 7 and 12 year old daughters helped- it was that easy to assemble. The only thing that I can tell that makes this coffee table a bit low quality are some inconsistencies with the stain color. This are mostly on the cylindrical stool supports and not really noticeable most of the time. My girls have enjoyed sitting on the stools and eating on the coffee table, and we have all enjoyed using the cushioned seats as foot stools. It holds 150 pounds, but I haven't had anyone bigger sit on them. It think it would be okay for more as long as they didn't try to rock back and forth. I am happy, the top came without a scratch and it was well packaged. The box was REALLY heavy, but I am happy with the product.

One of the best purchases I’ve made. It is sturdy and beautiful. The only problem is when it arrives there was small nicks on the legs but it was barely noticeable and it didn’t bother. I’ve had it for about five months now and still as beautiful as when I first got it.

Took my husband 30 minutes or so to assemble the table and stools. The color of the wood is a dark espresso which I was pleasantly surprised with because I had fears it would be too red. Large enough for the space and the stools are large enough to fit most sizes guests comfortably. Great buy!!

When ordered the table forst time, it came defective with marks all over the place and tabletop chipped at many places. We returned and ordered again, but looks like they sent us the dame table again! Very disappointed.

We love this table! It was fairly easy to put together. Arrived with one defective piece but we were quickly sent a replacement. It makes a great game table for the kids & provides extra ottomans for the family room.
