Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

good when used properly
You need to use these at a slow speed. I used it on my 7x14 lathe and when used right and with lubricant it works great. Have seen people try to part to fast and burn these up.

Works for me
The parting blade, I believe is suppose to be wider at the top edge , both ends are angled, but only one end is correct, if you look straight at the end, you'll notice square 90 degree one side of cutter and a slightly different angle degree to the bottom of the other side. That is the relief side,I believe that clears up the chattering and binding of the work, don't know if people know that

OK
Works Ok, but I had to shim mine in the lathe in order to get the cutter on the lathe center line. The blade is firmly held, but the design holds the blade at the top of the holder, so it’s hard to get the cutting edge on the lathe center line. I got mine to work by shimming the back of the parting tool holder at the rear of the tool post holder, so the parting tool was tipped down slightly. Without this, the tool chatters horribly.

Well made
Good quality and well made. Worked as expected and cut off's are deeper than can be achieved with the normal tipped parting tool. Very happy

Light duty Only
THE blade holder is cheap screw and let the blade slide in as pressure is applied, the blade is very thin and tends chatter while trying to cut I was using aluminum don't think it will work with steel

Sharpen the blade before using it, looked ok but needed more relif angle.
works good for cutting cooling fins and parting off. Still have not broken a blade in aluminum and I am fairly aggressive with the feeds.
