Almost perfect !
Excellent ! I personally like it a little more acidic so I just add more lemon and maybe a touch of heavy cream. Great!

Very bad taste. Nothing even remotely like homemade.

Tastes only far.
Doesn’t taste the way it should. Only mediocre.

No Cooking Info
The taste is not bad, but it's a bit thick and over lemony. The thing I liked least about this hollandaise is that there were no cooking instructions on the jar, only a website. Who needs a website when you just want to pour hot hollandaise on your asparagus??? This stuff gets a pass from me.

Meh, ok.
It was ok. Very thick, heat with more milk to right consistency. Too heavy on the lemon. Ate it, but will continue my search for a worthy one elsewhere.

Out of date
Interestingly, the date on this was partially rubbed out. I wish such things were on the listing for us to see. This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten out of date product. What I could see of the date suggests it may even have a 2021 date, though it MIGHT be a two, not a one. But I had the last of my store bought jar and could compare. First, this bottle was much firmer. In fact, so firm that warming it didn’t significantly liquify it. Secondly, there was the smell. Slightly rancid. Third was the taste…YUCK! My previous bottle was bought a good while back (I don’t use hollandaise sauce but once or twice a month) and kept in the fridge after opening. It was still properly soft, smelled good and tasted fine. Sadly, I had put a dollop of this new stuff on my intentionally under-cooked eggs and set it in the warmer while my bacon cooked, so when I saw the sauce hadn’t softened in the warmer and gave it a taste…I had to throw out a lovely pair of poached eggs and English muffin.
