the adventures in the books wer every creative and interesting for the children to enjoy.

My niece is a teacher in Arkansas. Her 1st grade class is sorely lacking in enjoyable books for afternoon reading. I purchased every 'Tacky' title available on Amazon and sent them down to her. I figured penguins in Arkansas would be a novelty for the kids, and they LOVED it!!The 1st graders love Tacky and his crazy adventures; he's always faced w a perplexing problem, but seems to make the right (sometimes tough) choice to solve it. Good lessons for children!

Grandson loved the story - great read for change-up of home schooling.

My grown-up son remembers Tacky from his childhood and loves to read the books to his daughter. This is a very funny one, both the story line and the illustrations are great.

Another hilarious adventure for Tacky. I love how Tacky is just himself no matter what.

My five year old loves Tacky the Penguin! Tacky in Trouble is his new favorite selection! You can't go wrong with the colorful, unique penguin. He likes to read them over and over and doesn't tire of the cool penguin, whatsoever!

We just love Tacky. My son is 9 now, but we still occasionally pick these books up and read them. The series is a wonderful celebration of differences and friendship. Thank you Helen Lester for giving our children this sweet, funny, touching series of books.

Tacky does it again. I like this book in particular because it's a departure from the original Tacky formula but it remains true to the message that it's ok and even wonderful to be different. If you like Tacky, you will love this book.

I love ALL of the TACKY books, and my grandson does too. Illustrations and the storyline are super. Job well done.
