Bought as a Replacement
I bought these to replace the original ones for my son's 2008 Land Rover LR2. I called the dealer originally for a replacement and they wanted $360 each for one. I picked this pair up for approximately $50 total. I did have to go to the dealer to have them programmed since none of the locksmiths near me could do the programming, but these saved me over $600. If you're looking for a replacement fob for a 2008 Land Rover LR2, these are great. Make sure to get the 315MHz.

Worked, but broke.
The chip worked, got it programmed for $90 at the locksmith, but the tab that holds the emergency key in broke within two weeks, so mostly a good purchase; I just bought a new case and replaced it, so the part I needed this for worked just fine.

Junk!! You get what you pay for!
Remote could not be programmed by local locksmith that specializes in auto keys. The remote would not transmit a signal to his tester. Opened the remote, the battery was dead, but it is soldered in place. You cannot replace the battery. Even if it worked, would have to replace the remote when you need a new battery!

Works great. Programmed it myself with the maxi AP200 scanner

Amazing can't believe it worked was scared since wasn't land rover made but worked like a charm!!!! A1 deff recommended if you lose ur key like my daughter did!!!!

Buttons don't work
Was able to program to the vehicle and use to start the engine, but remote buttons do not function. The buttons feel different than the original, like the internal board is installed crooked.
