Although I have a short-haired cat, and this product is marketed for being excellent for the long-haired variety, I pay the the extra as it's so brilliant! There is less cat litter trailing out of the litter tray, and the larger pieces are easy to pick up off the floor and chuck back into the tray. When the cat has a wee, the litter clumps into a sort of jelly-like substance which is so easy to scoop out and dispose of. I haven't noticed any smell from the cat's urine in the tray - it really does seem to absorb smells. It might seem expensive, but I use very little, as it's so easy to dispose of the specific clumps and to just top it up when needed. I therefore find it very economical to use. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is the best litter for long-haired Maine Coon cats that we've been able to find. It doesn't get stuck to their hair and it's easy to clean. It does track slightly but nowhere near as much as some other brands, including the original Cats Best. The only downside is that the litter is only sold in 10kg bags whereas the original Cats Best is sold in bags double the size.

Does the job perfectly and no mess, perfect!

My old man first found this as one of his customers was using it in her home and he saw the cat litter box and said to her he was surprised she had a cat as there was absolutely no smell at all so nagged me to buy it. It is UNBELIEVABLE. I have tried every type and I mean every type and this one is the ONLY one that completely covers the smell. I wanted the small 5litre bags as I can't lift the 10 or 20 litre types and the only place I could find them was on Amazon. Even thought they were shipped from the Netherlands they came very quickly. Please all round and will only buy this. Don't confuse it with the same make in the red bag which is light and goes everywhere, this is the one to use.

This is a good litter - the pellets are cleaner in form and heavier than Oko Plus, and so far I haven't noticed it tracking. On the other hand, despite the claims, it absolutely is not flushable. Oko Plus comes apart very quickly in water and can be flushed more or less as sawdust. Nature Gold seems to turn into a thick gel that gathers at the bottom of the pan and doesn't shift even if left over multiple flushes and overnight. I was comfortable flushing Oko Plus because it clearly lasted barely any time in water. I not only wouldn't flush Nature Gold, but can't flush it! So you can either have tracking and flushable litter, or no tracking and nappy bags. Pick the one you like.

Best cat litter ever! I have 3 cats, they all use this litter with no problems. It doesn't stick to their paws, tracks a lot less than other litters I have tried, is much less dusty and is easy to clean up as it forms not-so-hard clumps that are easily flushable as they break up when flushed (just remember not to flush too many clumps at once). I highly recommend it.

Hohes Gewicht, extreme Staubwolken und überall im Bad liegt die Streu verteilt. Das waren für mich die Gründe, von Bentonit-Streu auf Ökostreu umzusteigen. Nach vielen Ökostreu-Tests (Holz, Mais, Kräuter/Gräser und Weizen) bin ich schließlich bei Cat's Best Smart Pellets gelandet. Geringe Staubentwicklung: 9/10 Was die Staubentwicklung angeht, ist diese Streu so perfekt, wie eine Streu nur sein kann. Endlich bekommen weder ich noch meine Katzen beim Befüllen und Aussieben der Katzentoilette einen Niesanfall. Die volle Punktzahl gibt es trotzdem nicht, denn minimale Ablagerungen auf den Möbeln gibt es immer noch. Vor allem, wenn die Streu schon länger in Gebrauch ist. Diese Ablagerungen sind aber wirklich nur minimal - eine völlig staubfreie Streu gibt es wohl nicht. Gewicht: 9/10 Auch hier überzeugt mich die Streu voll und ganz. Bei meinen Streu-Tests hatte ich zwar noch leichtere Streu, aber endlich kann ich das Katzenklo (mit 1,5 bis 2 10l-Packungen Cat's Best) vom Obergeschoss in den Keller tragen, ohne einen gefühlten Bandscheibenvorfall zu bekommen. Heraustragen aus dem Katzenklo: 9/10 Auch hier ist die Streu die beste, die ich je hatte. Natürlich hat man noch ein paar Pellets vor der Katzentoilette liegen. Das meiste bleibt aber tatsächlich in der Streumatte hängen. Die restlichen 2-3 Pellets kann man leicht mit dem Staubsauger aufsaugen oder aufheben und wieder in die Toilette geben. Kein Vergleich zur Bentonit-Streu und schon gar nicht zur Ökostreu aus Holzspänen oder Weizen, die nicht nur im Bad, sondern in der ganzen Wohnung herumlag. Akzeptanz: 8/10 Ich habe meine beiden Birma-Katzen auf die Streu umgestellt, indem ich sie zunächst mit der gewohnten Bentonit-Streu vermischt habe, bis schließlich nur noch die Cat's Best Smart Pellets übrig blieben. Meine Katzen haben die Streu gut angenommen, aber solange sie die Wahl zwischen dieser und einer anderen Streu hatten, haben sie die andere Streu bevorzugt. Geruchsbindung: 10/10 Die Streu bindet Gerüche sehr gut und meiner Meinung nach sogar besser als Bentonit. Der Holzduft ist sehr angenehm und erst nach mehrwöchiger Benutzung fängt die Streu an, unangenehm zu riechen. Ich tausche sie nach 4 Wochen aus. Allein schon deshalb, weil sie nach ein paar Wochen anfängt, zu Staub zu zerfallen und sich dann stärker auf den Möbeln ablagert. Klumpenbildung: 8/10 Die Klumpenbildung ist völlig zufriedenstellend. Es dauert zwar eine Weile (mindestens 30 Minuten), bis die Klumpen so hart sind, dass man die Streu gut durchsieben kann. Auch dann fallen meist noch ein paar kleine Bröckchen ab, die man durchgetrocknet aber gut aus dem Katzenklo "fischen" kann. Ich empfehle eine Streuschaufel mit Gitter. Damit lässt sich die Streu schnell und einfach sieben. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Klumpen relativ groß werden, wodurch sich Verbrauch erhöht und der Streueimer schneller voll wird. Ich brauche für drei Katzenklos (2 aus Edelstahl mit mindestens 10cm Füllhöhe, 1 selbstreinigendes Katzenklo mit weniger Füllhöhe) schätzungsweise 60-70l von der Streu im Monat. Aber ich bin so zufrieden mit der Streu, dass ich die höheren Kosten gerne in Kauf nehme. Fazit: Meine neue Lieblingsstreu, die ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Danke, Cat's Best, dass ihr so ein tolles Produkt auf den Markt gebracht habt. Und danke, Amazon, dass man die Streu hier zu einem sehr fairen Preis im Sparabo bekommt.

İki aydır ürünü kullanıyorum. Kullandığım en iyi kedi kumu diyebilirim. Her gün düzenli temizlenirse, koku yapmıyor. Topaklanması gayet güzel. Evin içine dağılmıyor. Tek kedi ve XL kum kabı için paketin üstünde belirtilen süreden daha uzun süre gidiyor.

Muy buena opción a las arenas minerales. Comprábamos siempre bentonita aglomerante de una marca buena de una tienda conocida de mascotas y estábamos encantados por cómo absorbía y aglomeraba y también era buena reteniendo los olores hasta que en 3 semanas ya empezaba a oler un poquito y la cambiaba. Pero no podía tirar los desechos al wc, y había siempre un rastro de arenilla hacia fuera del baño y por el pasillo que me volvía loca a pesar de tener una alfombrilla que recoge bastante arena de las patas. Así que decidí probar esta opción más natural y con la opción de desecharla en el wc pero también por probar si se le enganchaba a las patitas a mi Bosque de Noruega tanto como la bentonita. Éste lecho es un compuesto vegetal, parece como el serrín y huele a madera, que a mí me resulta agradable. No irrita ni levanta polvo de ningún tipo, el ambiente en el baño que es donde está el arenero me parece más limpio. Aglomera bien aunque con el pis se queden algunos trocitos desparramados y tengas que ir recogiendo con la pala, el popo se recoge bien y sin que se le adiera partículas de lecho así que eso que ahorro. Y..... aunque salen 2 o 3 trocitos de esta madera, no es el rastro de arena horrible de antes y además la mitad quedan en la alfombrilla con forma de enjambre que tiene al salir del arenero. El precio está bien, puede parecer caro porque es poca cantidad, este saco se 2,5kg me ha dado para cubrir de sobra un arenero estándar de 45x30cm y da para un grosor de 4 o 5 cm, más que suficiente. Así que calculo que la cambiaré cada mes y ese precio para un mes y con todas las ventajas que describo me parece muy razonable. Así que después de más de 2 semanas de uso y 0 olores, me paso a esta opción más natural y, pienso que agradable, para mi gatita.

I have used Cats Best for ages and thought I would try the 'smart' pellets as I was sick of having to vacuum up all the litter on the floors. Smart pellets still stick to my domestic short hair cat and no better than the normal one. Always cleaning up the trails of pellets. Will just stick to the normal one from now on.

No dust
