Marvel Studios Captain Marvel [Blu-ray] [Region Free] [2019]

Ever since I was collecting Marvel Comics from School Days to-date, I always jumped with joy when I discovered Captain Marvel and would relish reading through the comic to find out which baddie she is going to teach a lesson to. Now, finally, I will get a chance to see her on dvd. I saw the trailer for this wonderful movie on just recently and had already decided I want to buy her dvd. The cover is beautiful and I just know the movie is going to be very enjoyable. Thank you very much, Amazon!.

a great super hero film that was also a great buy.

Marvel deliver another great entry to the MCU with amazing special effects that you could swear they had a time machine and brought a young Samuel L Jackson to the present for this movie. Acting across the board is solid, and as expected in a MCU movie there are a few laughs but I have to say whenever Brie Larson shows some of Captain Marvel's sarcasm and makes a joke it mostly feels out of place and completely misses. The whole movie is directed well and looks great, but there is one scene that is almost ruined by an odd song choice as it is just completely out of place and doesn't suit it at all; No Doubts Just A Girl. Aside from that all the action is great, its awesome when Captain Marvel finally goes super saiyan but soon after that "Superman Syndrome" kicks in as you realize shes pretty much invincible. Its cool to watch her kick ass but it takes most of the thrill out of it because you know she more or less can't be hurt, which is a major reason I can't stand Superman half the time. But all in all this is another solid entry for the MCU.

I watched this when it first came out and then it disappeared from the streaming services (unless you paid extra). When I spotted this on Amazon, I bought it and watched again. It's not the finest script but as it features one of Marvel's most famous characters and for once has a female lead, it's good fun and light years better than a lot of the testosterone-driven dialogue that can make other Marvel films so predictable. Get the popcorn out, sit back and enjoy.

Superb visual upgrade on the 4k format enhancing the special-effects The planet Kree is at war with the shape-shifters The Skrulls. Vers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) who is a Starforce Member under the guidance and training of Yon Rogg (Jude Law) believes herself ready to go on a mission despite her repeated and unexplainable nightmares involving an older-woman on a different World to Kree. When on the mission she'd craved Vers is captured by the Skrulls the memories detected lead them to travel to Earth where they become separated. Vers crash-lands in Los Angeles into a video-store, on the scene very quickly is S.H.E.I.L.D agent Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) who pursues her while chasing a Skrull. When Fury and Vers finally join-up, he will help her to try and find herself, she doesn't really know who she is or even where she belongs and indeed whether she'd been fighting on the right side. Finding her past will help her bring-forth the powers previously unknown to her as The Kree intervein in her personal quest. During this time will Vers previously Carol Danvers make the right choices? This a superb special-effects bonanza, that'll both excite you and indeed bring a frequent smile as the tale unfolds... Captain Marvel, set to become The Avengers most powerful ally. Certainly a must-see for Super-Hero and indeed Marvel fans/ great fun and enjoyable viewing

Nobody buys DVDs today so you can get them really cheaply and sell them, on cheaply once you have finished with them. This one is a good fantasy film. Part of the Marvel Universe.

Captain Marvel has had its share of lovers and haters since its release. I am firmly in the lovers catagory. I thought it was a fantastic film, it may have been a story setter for a new character but it was a great one. Nice to see the beginnings of so many new characters starting out in the MCU and how they will fit in things to come. And got to love Goose, a little legend all of his own.
