Works fine w/MoCA 2.5 and a good value
Works fine with MoCA 2.5 devices. Came in two pack so used one in cable box and one indoors to split signal between MoCA device and cable modem. No noticeable impact to internet speeds and MoCA devices work very fast too. Good price and nice value.

Simple and inexpensive splitter, but may degrade your signal to your cable modem
I bought these hoping to use them to integrate my cable modem and MOCA network. They are inexpensive and do the job as advertised, and were compatible with my MOCA 2.5 devices. However, they are true splitters and will attenuate the signal -3.5dB or so per line, which was apparently intolerable to my cable modem. Checking the cable modem's status confirmed power readings outside its optimal ranges. To fix this, I wound up using this device: https://www.amazon.com/Way-10-dB-Tap-Frequency/dp/B00UVW2VU4 and directing the unattenuated line to the cable modem and the -10dB tap line to the MOCA network. Cable modem is now much happier and the MOCA network tolerated the drop in signal with no issue.Bottom line, these will work as advertised, but it depends on your cabling and modem if they'll provide a reliable signal. They were MOCA 2.5 compatible and caused no problems in that regard. BTW, if you are trying to use MOCA 2.5 and an ARRIS SB8200 cable modem, it seems it is sensitive to the MOCA frequencies. A POE filter like the ones found elsewhere on this site installed before the cable modem fixed this. Hope this helps someone.

Works well with MOCA. But remember YOU MUST REPLACE ALL OTHER SPLITTERS TO GET FULL MOCA 2.5
I have struggled with slow speeds and even when I set up a 6 unit MESH network, I was still seeing some really bad speeds in parts of the house. What my MESH needed was a wired backhaul and I wasn't ready to run network cabling. I've contemplated that for many years and just couldn't figure out a better way to do it.I had tried MOCA before but was getting terrible speeds, because back then it like MOCA 1.0. Fast forward and I was revisiting this issue and realized that with MOCA 2.5 I would be able to get an that wired backhaul.First I bought the Hitron HTEM5 MoCA 2.5 Adapter Kit (2-Pack)[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C47MJT83?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1] and as soon as I hooked that up, my speeds went to 50Mbps either way before any splitter changes.I then went to where the coax was entering my home and replaced the splitter which was rated up to 5-1GHz, with this and instantly I saw an improvement in my download speed from 50Mbps to 423Mbps. Keep in mind that a 4K video stream is around 30Mbps. I was immediately blown away. Until I saw that my download speed was still 23Mbps.I thought there was nothing else to be done, and was ready to live with it, until I remembered that I had once seen another splitter inside my mechanical room, so I went to check that and what do you know, it was also rated for 1GHz. I was so glad this comes with 2 units, which is good value for money, because as soon as I replaced that internal splitter also with the second unit, the reception and connection jumped. I was now getting 457Mbps download and 422Mbps Uploads. Installation is simple and easy, twist on, twist off coax.No changes with FIOS picture, which there shouldn't be anyway. All this is doing is allowing a higher bandwidth through..So if you buy this and see no noticeable speed changes or very low download speeds, check your entire coaxial network, there is likely a slow pass splitter on it which is throttling your speeds. Replace it with this and you are good.

GOOD SOLID ITEM
This set of coax cable splitter box is good and solid. We purchased a digital antenna on the side of the house ($59.95+tax) from Amazon last year and we pick up excellent signal to 84 local channels. When we added internet, the number of channels went up to 138 (not counting Disney+ Bundle channels, HULU, MAX,and Netflix). Amazing!!

This device does not have power pass through
I picked this "Cable Matters 2-Pack Bi-Directional splitter" due to the "all port power pass through" as described in the description. I need to use the splitter as a combiner to also feed power to two antenna amplifiers. It has been determined that diodes are used to pass the power from both output ports to the single input port..Problem is, that the diodes are passing power in the wrong direction to combine and supply power to the two amplifiers. I have determined that power will be passed from the output ports to the single input port instead of passing power from input to the two outputs. If anyone is needing the same power flow through the device then this device will not work.
