CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Impact Wrench, 1/2 inch, Bare Tool Only (CMCF900B)

So true place torqued my tire down so hard on my trailer I couldn’t budge it even with the 2 foot breaker bar. I have wanted this wrench for the trailer in case on the side of road and full of livestock I need to get it done and get down the road. Charged the battery and in 5 min every nut was off and I was putting on my spare amazing how I was done in 15 min. Nice heavy tool, but easy to handle as a lady, great power, got the job done that 3 days ago was impossible. My local shop would have come out for $160 an hour, instead I paid less got the tool I needed and now have it for my trailer tool box

This is a great product. It is my first impact wrench. I got it because I had several of the other Craftsman V20 tools and had several batteries (Batteries are the most expensive part of the tool). If you get one family of tools with their batteries, it is best to stick with that brand. Each brand all have different batteries that do not interchange, it is more economical to stick with tools in the same family). The unit is sturdy and heavy built. It breezes through taking off lug nuts. It also takes off nuts that are torqued to 203 ft lbs. In the past I had to use a pull handle with a lot of effort, sometimes I couldn't get them to move. Now, a few seconds with this Craftsman impact. wrench and off it comes. I really love the fact that I am not dragging around an air hose or extension cord. They have really improved battery operated tools since I tried my first Craftsman cordless drill in the 1980s. If you have to take off your wheels a lot, having this unit is a real time and labor saver. If you got tougher jobs like replacing the struts, this unit will speed up the process. When replacing struts, you have to take the wheels off. Then you have to take off the heavily torqued nuts that hold the front struts to the steering knuckle. This unit is so heavy duty and BIG, you will need to invest in a set of impact extensions to reach some nuts/bolts. So, if you already have Craftsman V20 tools, this is the 1/2 inch impact wrench to get. Heavy duty and powerful.

This is loud, and it takes a little bit to loosen lugs, but given a little time, it does do it.

This Impact Gun is a beast !!! We installed a suspension lift in a 16 year old pickup and didn't need to break out any air tools. This Craftsman impact gun popped all the rusted nuts and bolts off with ease. Just have to be careful when tightening the nuts and bolts because it will torque them way past specs. Love it, best bang for your buck.

La llevé de impacto llegó bien en tiempo y forma, funcionó perfectamente, me sirvió para quitar las tuercas del carro sin problemas, le puse una batería de 4ah y sin problemas en su funcionamiento

Actualización. 26 junio. Tengan cuidado, ayer se fisuro y un pedazo del metal qué cubre el mandril de impacto se rompió, no sé a qué se deba, la he utilizado con dados de impacto solamente. Tendré que pedir garantía directamente a craftsman a ver si entra en garantía. Adquirí esta llave de impacto porque estoy cambiando piezas en un nissan versa 2013 advance, y hasta ahora ha funcionado muy bien. Inicialmente me sirvió para los birlos o tuercas del rin en medida 21mm y para retirar la tuerca del eje trasero que es de 30mm porque cambié zapatas traseras por mantenimiento. El kit solamente incluye la pistola, batería y cargador. No incluye dados de impacto, esos compralos por aparte. Más adelante actualizaré el comentario, porque todavía me falta cambiar horquillas de dirección, suspensión, soportes de caja y motor. En resumen, les recomiendo esta gran herramienta de trabajo. Monitorea el precio, porque en ocasiones baja. (Claro, si no te urge puedes esperar).
