Melanie Dale approaches this difficult topic with her usual style...humor and being real. She gets quite honest about her personal journey with infertility, and writes to help others understand and heal, not to offer solutions. Though I have not personally struggled with infertility, I have walked that road with many friends as they did, and I read this book to gain better perspective into that world. I highly recommend this book to others like myself who want to better relate to their friends who have or are currently struggling with infertility.

I have literally never written a review on anything in my life. I just want you to know how much this book helped me. It’s funny and meaningful at the same time. I’m so proud of someone for writing this and I truly hope it helps lighten a crappy situation in your life the way it did in mine.

I've been on my infertility journey for over 5 years now, and often these subjects aren't touched even in fertility groups about finding purpose and strength regardless of pain. AND BONUS POINTS! The author was also an infertile sister too with bursts of comical blurbs, and even a male viewpoint from her endearing husband. This is a book of options and healing. I would strongly suggest this to ALL folx dealing with infertility.

I ordered this book for myself, and don't regret it for a second. I have a dry sense of humor, so I did laugh a lot. She also gives a lot of content warnings for those who aren't in a place of their life to read about certain things (faith, pregnancy, etc). I recommend this for anyone who is struggling with infertility and just needs a smile.

Amazing book!! It helped me!! One thing about infertility is feeling alone. This made me feel like she was right there, someone telling me I am strong enough and i can get through this!! Even on the days i feel like I can’t!!

This book is just what you need when you are struggling with infertility! It makes you smile, let’s you know someone has been in the similar boat as you and is just so easy to read! I would recommend this book 100%. It’s even a boon your significant other could read and get some insight from as well!

This is the first book that I finished in one sitting in quite awhile. As someone going through it, it’s incredibly isolating when you feel like you’re the only one in your family or group of friends that has experienced something so defeating. Its great to read about all of the feelings, thoughts, and experiences that infertility creates to feel like “hey, I am not so alone after all!” Thank you Melanie!

This book is the most honest capture I have ever come across of the at times brutal, ridiculous and ever painful journey of infertility. An absolute must read to laugh off some of the heaviness from someone who actually gets it, and her husband too! Would also be super helpful for those who genuinely want to understand more of what this journey actually entails to better support their friends or family member that may be walking through this too.
