Great photos, easy to read, very informative. Well worth the price

Did not know most of book just pictures

I got this book as a present for my grandfather's best friend in Italy. He's Italian but speaks English perfectly. He's 87 and sharp as a tack. A few months ago he mailed me a newspaper, a small book and a postcard (picture taken my him) from my family's town in Tuscany.I wanted to send him a book with pictures of where I live. The book is beautiful. It has pics of Miami back in the days compared with current pictures of the same spot. I know he'll love it.

This book holds a special meaning for me, as my Grandfather was commissioned by George Merrick to come to Miami and layout the city of Coral Gables. The books arrived in excellent condition and I will be giving one of them as a gift. Thank you for this stroll down memory lane.

It tells me more than I thought it would and brings back memories of the community I grew up in that I had forgotten. My parents have passed away so having this and of course my photo albums brings smiles to my face.

I have a then and now book for each city I have lived in. I love the photos from the past compared to the present. This is a great table top book!

I purchased this for my father who was grew up in Miami in the 50's -70's. I thought the book might have photos from his time, but they were from much farther back. It would have been cool to shower fewer places, but more photos of the progression instead of just the earliest photo they could find and the present day. Still it was very interesting and my dad did like it a lot. I also expected this to be coffee table sized or at least the size of a coloring book, but it's smaller, so be sure to look at the dimensions before ordering.

The product was great but the communication with seller was so so at best
