Lapis Lazuli Rosary with silver Italian made crucifix, includes Gift Box

The Crucifix and Miraculous Medal centrepiece in this rosary have both been made in Italy and are heavily Silver Plated. I designed this traditional Five Decade Rosary with Lapis Lazuli gemstones, which are deep blue gemstones with gold inclusions. One of the reasons I have always adored Lapis Lazuli is because of its history. I remember learning years ago that in the distant past, Lapis Lazuli was used as pigment for paintings but was very expensive so only special paintings had bright blue, and this is why the virgin Mary is often depicted wearing bright blue as she was deemed to be special enough to warrant using this beautiful colour! Packaging: Each piece of jewellery will arrive in an elegant hand stamped eco-friendly kraft box, excellent for gift giving. Please see the images provided for an example. Your package will also include care instructions, a resealable storage bag, and an anti-tarnish tab for long term protection. Measurements: Please see the last photo for a guide to measurements, the looped circumference piece is around 31" long. The vertical hanging piece from the top of the centrepiece to the bottom of the crucifix is just under 6". When laid out long and flat, the rosary is around 22" from top to bottom. This Five Decade rosary comprises 6mm beads with larger 8mm Our Father beads. History & Lore: Lapis Lazuli is widely thought to be an excellent meditation stone as it is said that its energy can help quiet a busy or restless mind. It has been used as a gemstone for thousands of years and people around the world have long considered lapis to be a stone of truth and friendship.
