Love these watches, I actually buy one every year. It's cute, works well. The battery last over a year. Great for kids and people with small wrists.

This is a very cute watch. My kindergartener loves the lizards that move around as the second hands. I appreciate that the hour and minute hands are different colors to help with learning how to read an analog watch. The band is easy to adjust and I've thrown it in the washing machine when it gets dirty. I knocked one star off because the watch face got scratched quickly but besides that its been a great kids watch.

This is the perfect watch!! I have been searching for a watch for my 4 year old son and this turned out to be the best we've found. I saw some other timex watches but I guess they were a junior size, this size is perfect for my son's tiny wrist, it adjusts perfect and has a lot of length on the wrist so it can fit when he grows up. The first thing we did with this watch was to go to the pool, my son wore it during a whole day of swimming and playing at the pool and it worked perfectly, it even has a light that he loves, the little geckos are cute, I would definitely recomend this watch...we really love it, and the price is perfect!!

We've only had it a little over a week, but so far, my son loves it! Great features: - fully adjustable wrist band. Not just notches, but a pull-tight band that can fit even small children's wrists - comfortable band-- fabric, not plastic like most kids' watches - ANALOG! Love this feature! In a digital age, when they aren't even teaching how to read a real clock in school anymore, I was so happy to find an analog watch for my 6-year-old son. It even has each minute marked off, so he can see exactly what time it is - Cute little lizards tick away the seconds - child-resistant adjustment knob. Like most watches, you have to pull out the knob to set the time, then push it back in to lock it. We tried other kids' watches that just had push buttons to set the time (digital) and he was always accidentally changing the time when the buttons bumped against his wrist - glow feature. When you hold in the knob, it illuminates the watch face in blue light, so he can check the time at night. Only thing I can't comment on is how easy (or difficult) it might be to change the battery, as we haven't yet had to do that. Great kids' watch for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Cute. My son loves how the lizards jump each second. Gave it three stars as the watch band is starting to snag and stretch out (6 months of daily use) and the watch falls behind and must be adjusted every so often. Was a great starter watch for my 4 year old though.

While searching for a watch for a four year old with an easy on and off watchband strap, I stumbled upon these cute Timex teaching watches. The elastic band is great for his small hands; no adult help needed. There are numerous designs and colors appropriate for either boys or girls. This particular watch has two different color hands to help a young child differentiate between hours and minutes, and in addition to the standard clock face, this watch has a smaller ring of numbers for the minutes. Each style watch may or may not have a second hand. This one doesn't have a traditional second hand, but instead uses two little lizards that move with each second. These lizards are cute, however, I'm not sure my four year old is going to be able to equate their rotation to seconds. This watch is water resistant. Oh, and he loves the Indiglo feature. Not all the teaching watches have this backlight ability. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the Timex beginner teaching watch, and because of the Timex reputation, I'm confident it will stand up to a young child's abuse.
