the unit worked great while it worked ! this morning the bottom came off while making 4 strips of bacon apon looking it over there were cracks in the top section bottom we only had this for 40 days and have used it every day bummer! Contacted wowbacon about the problem Harlan from there service team sent me an email saying they would replace the unit and send me a bacon grease container for the inconvenience I thought that was great I sent them my address the same one I use on my Amazon account they said my zip code did not work so I resent my full address again there next reply was my zip code did not work and to have a nice day to me that is very bad customer service I even sent them my phone number in the first email I guess it did not work either I am very disappointed with them at this point!

I am always on the go and this is perfect for cooking bacon and eggs in the morning quickly and easily. You can tell it is made of quality material and it even has a 3 YEAR warranty! I have tried other bacon cookers in the past and this is by far the best, most reliable one.You can cook your bacon to be any level of crispy that you want. It takes me 4.5 minutes to cook 6 pieces of bacon to my preferred crispiness. The instructions were easy to follow and the clean up was super easy too. No paper towels are needed at all so think about all the trees that are being saved!!☺I love my cooker and would highly recommend it to anyone. We have been using these bacon cookers for a few years. They have never lasted long but we continued to use them because they are so handy. I just ordered another one in May 2019. It was advertised to be improved so we were happy about that! Well, it is now June 19, 2019 and it is already damaged. The return date expired on June 16. I have had at least 4 or 5 of these. I will not buy another. The concept is great because the grease is contained. So sad the company cannot come up with a better product. I would be glad to pay more for it if it was made to last longer. If you notice on the photos, there is something on the outside of the container where the bottom piece attaches. That substance has been there after cooking the bacon. It doesn’t seem to be grease. More like a glue. I noticed yesterday that there was a crack on the inside bottom. It wasn’t all the way through. This morning it burned though the bottom. See photos.UPDATE: I received a call from the company. The representative was very nice and is sending me a new cooker along with another of their products. Perhaps the one I received was not the updated version. I appreciate so much her caring and helpful attitude. The product is great and she assured me the new version will last longer. Also it carries a 3 year warranty which I wasn’t aware of. After the first review I did reorder one. My husband loves it so much and wanted another one!

I was dying to find a way to cook bacon that didn't mess up my oven or waste half a roll of paper towels, and this is it! Now it's not perfect, and they could REALLY improve the product by adding a handle for the cup part as well as the lid, but I will list the pros and cons.Pros:Very easy to assemble and take apart. The instructions are helpful, even though it took me a bit to understand what they meant by placing the bacon "fat side in" (the fattier side of the slices should be closer to the center of the wheel). The spokes the bacon hangs on are spaced far enough apart that you can fit a sponge inside to clean them off. There is no waste of paper towels and if you seal it properly your microwave doesn't get messy. All the grease is kept neatly contained to be poured into a grease can at the end. You really can place a slice of bacon on each spoke and cook them all, even though that will get a really high level of grease. After two full rotations I had done an entire pack of bacon. There is no annoying hot cover to burn your fingers on, nor a side spout for spilled grease to creep out of and burn you.Cons:It may take a few tries to properly latch the top and you should make sure you understand it properly and carefully before use so that you don't try to force it. The side latches are flimsy and could break if you are careless. Even though the bacon shrinks while cooking, due to depth of the cup you may still have pieces of bacon sitting in grease by the end. At least for me, this caused a few end pieces of the bacon slices to not be properly cooked all the way. Most shrank enough to be above the grease, so this was a rare occurrence. If you like dry, non-greasy bacon from paper towels this will disappoint you. The bacon is still oily, and you will need to lift them off the spokes with a fork to avoid burning. The next problem (and this could be solved by adding a SINGLE feature) is that the cup itself has no handle. If you want to pour out the grease from the cup it may feel too hot to the touch from the grease as it runs out. If they added a handle to the cup part this problem would not exist! The last problem is that even though the pieces are dishwasher safe, that never cleans it well enough. I have to hand wash with a sponge and air dry, but that is a minor inconvenience.

It is insanely easy to make bacon. All the splatter and drippings go into the cup. Just be careful that you don't overcook the slices - too much heat and the plastic holder will melt where the bacon is draped over it. That's not good.

This is an easy product to use, and easy to clean, but find the flavour is bacon is truly lost with this method of making. Good for a quick sandwich but prefer oven flavour over this.
