Classic Solid Color Wool French Beret (Brown)

Having had several previous berets, all bought at tourist stands in France, (but sadly, gradually lost over the years!) these hats are slightly less substantial in weight, and seem to stretch out and loosen. I may have to sew in some strands of elastic to maintain fit.The colors are nice and match the color shown on web site well. (I bought one each of black, brown, and burgundy.) And they are relatively inexpensive, so even with the stretch I would probably buy again if I couldn't find slightly higher grade materials.

it was small than i expected......i ordered two berets one was fine this was a bit tight......i wet it and stretched it over the bottom of a big saucepot so now it is better.

The beret didn't have the 'toggle" on top as in the photo and it was very scratchy. Not warm. It was only 20% wool - the rest synthetic. I guess you get what you pay for. I sent it back.

Item seems a bit thin.

Hat fit as expected but fabric pills. Sheds on whatever I am wearing

The item was defective and material was of poor quality. Did not return it because I tore open the plastic bag rendering it was useless.
