SkinFood Premium Tomato Whitening Toner, 3.52 Ounce

It's a toner that doesn't dry out my sensitive, mature skin as much as others. It does remove oil and makep that a gentle cleanser might miss. Scent is light and almost not there. Nice for summer. I really like Skin Food products but the tomato line is probably better for younger skin.

This toner in particular irritated my skin and other people as well. After a week use, I had to stop using it. I would not recommend this to people, especially those with senstive and acne prone skin.

For starters, I have a dry skin type, but occasionally I still get breakouts. I was hoping that this would help to fade hyper pigmentation from earlier breakouts. It did seem to help, but it isn't a miracle product in any way, and the scent is pretty strong. Water lily extract is an ingredient, as well as fragrance, so the toner does have an aquatic floral scent. Because I can be sensitive to floral fragrance, I was a little disappointed, but I guess the alternative of smelling like a tomato plant wouldn't be very popular. Luckily this didn't break me out, and like I mentioned before, it did seem to help at least a little bit. I think the determining factor on whether or not you'll like this is mainly dependent on if you like the scent and if you have sensitive skin at all. For me personally, I didn't see enough of an effect to repurchase.

My current skincare regime keeps my skin pretty soft and smooth. I added this toner and within seconds, my skin became inflamed - red and bumpy! It's a bummer and I wish I had tried a sample out beforehand.
