Very Convenient!
Very convenient device! Since my multiplus 2 is mounted in such a way that it makes reaching the switch on it difficult I decided to buy this. Super easy to turn it off and on from my phone. My GX device while nice makes you dig through menus to get to that page. Super nice and definitely worth it. Especially if you’re like me and your multiplus is not in the most convenient location.

Convenient System Monitoring
Makes it very easy to monitor the condition of the inverter. It's not quite as functional as the MK3-USB interface which provides additional information. However, for quick checks on system health, it's pretty much indispensable.

Inexpensive way to monitor MultiPlus II
I added the Victron MultiPlus II and a LiFePO4 Lithium Battery to my RV and wanted a easy way to monitor the MultiPlus II that was less expensive than their GX system. This smart dongle allows me to easily monitor the MultiPlus II and change the input limit from my smart phone. It was super easy to install only requiring a 12v connection and a cat-5 or better ethernet cable, and the smart phone app was free. For the price, Victron should have built this into the MultiPlus II, but since they didn't, get this adaptor!
