You cannot go wrong with this desk blotter. Beautiful to look at. Impeccable stitching. Deep rich color. Sturdy. Felt bottom keeps the pad in place. Excellent construction. I hardly ever write a review. This product is worth my time for a review of excellence!

Functionally as desired; Caveat: odor
Looks good, the writing surface is adequate. Out of the bag, the manufacturing left a very strong volatile odor. I couldn't put it on my desk for about 3 days because inhaling it was noxious. Now just a hint of it left

Side frame is raised from pad, leaving a gap from main surface. Otherwise, average quality overall.
