I bought these plates to match my side plates and bowls of which are from a different manufacturer. The colour of thes eplates match well so it was a good choice I made.You may be aware of some reviews on some other products, where the reviewer comments on the price and says that he / she could have bought a dinner set for the same. Well, I too am aware of such comment and I am also aware that those cheap dinner sets do not last long as they easily chip, crack and break.These plates are thick, heavy and nice and strong. I wanted large dinner plates and these are larger than expected. The rim is well raised and narrow so the plate can hold more of the food and loads of gravy / sauce with any spills. These plates are a good two inches larger than my previous ones that they have replaced and they do hold much more than I can usually eat.The plates are ideal for Christmas / Easter lunches as they can easily hold all the meat, trimmings, Yorkie Puds and loads of gravy without having to pile the food high.I am recommending thes eplates as they are very good quality, will last a long time and they are good value for their size , thickness and weight.

Only had 11 plates in box. It's an OCD nightmare!!

I am very pleased with this purchase. I wasn't sure because of the reviews that said that the plates are good size for snacks and small meals and I wanted them for everyday dinner. I decided to buy them anyway because if a normal size plate is 10.5 and this one are 10 inches, I though that the difference wasn't huge and in fact it isn't these are perfect for any meal. I was looking for something not too heavy but durable and this is it! I highly recommend this product and the seller. The delivery was fast and the the quality of the product is superb.

I’ve noticed over the years the plates and bowls getting bigger and bigger. Sadly, the plates I had were too big for my counter top dishwasher. These are perfect. Smaller in size so they fit in the dishwasher and they still provide ample room for adult size food portions. They are thicker and heavier than my previous plates, just for information purposes. I couldn’t be happier with them.

Unfortunately one of the plates was broken on delivery. We have kept the others as they are perfect, but it is a shame one broke before making it to us.

I like my dinner on a hot plate, and I put my plates in the oven to warm properly before I dish up: I've been so disappointed when even John Lewis plates craze after a few meals. These plates, in the other hand, seem to be standing up well to the oven and the dishwasher. A very comprehensive catalogue arrived with the box of plates, and I've got my eye on several of the other items of crockery. Highly recommended!
