Golden Raisins, 12 Pounds of Dried Jumbo Golden Raisins from Basse Dried Fruits - 12 Pack of 1lb Bags of Delicious, Healthy Raisins (12 Pounds Total)

I ordered from a different brand and multiple vendors before this and was pleased at first shipment then disappointed later on when a 3rd party sent me regular sized golden raisins. This brand, BASSE is well packaged, great big golden raisins. Just as advertised and delicious! This is what I was after! Made with big, sweety grapes to produce a tender, jumbo raisin. Very pleased.

Such a shame, the raisins are large and not dried out but they taste awful. I think my batch is rancid. You can barely taste the raisin because of the off taste of the oil used.

In order to increase the product "Quality Grade."The bag that the raisins arrive in, should advise the consumer, that raisins should be washed before consuming.The raisins tasted better after being washed, then rinsing until clean, putting them in the Micro Wave Oven for a short time. letting them dry off.They were enjoyable to eat or use them in baking or with salads.I found tiny sticks in some bags. I will reorder them again. However I would not like to think that parents would giving them to children without being cleaned. I have used other brands of golden raisins for years. These were a delightful surprise. These raisins are twice as big as my previous purchases and very tasty.

As a lover of golden raisins- these taste awful!!!! Almost like they’ve taken on the taste of the packaging?! I don’t know - but awful taste.. and I’ve got a lot of them now :/

Unfortunately they do have sulfates but are sweet and go well in my oatmeal.

I thought the first bag of these I opened tasted a bit strange but guessed (wrongly it seems) that was just the way they were supposed to taste. After tasting the second bag, I realized the first was way off. I don't know if they were starting to spoil or if somehow they just were a bad bag. Up to now I didn't realize dried fruit like raisins could spoil. At least I didn't get sick eating the first but I would hesitate to order any more lest they also taste 'strange'. Glad I had the second bag or I would have been soured on golden raisins for life.
