Great product, even better customer service.
First time using a paint sprayer, wanted to practice on a mud room that I didn't particularly care how it turned out, one thing I learned is you definitely need to thin the paint more than expected. I didn't realize that, but once I got it to the right thinness, it worked really well. I went through a bunch of those small paint strainers to make sure nothing got in there so buy more than you think you need, I was also using old paint so another reason it needed a lot of thinning. I also had an issue with the first delivery, Amazon sent me one that was clearly a return, the box was open, everything was unwrapped inside, not sure if it had all the parts, I took pictures and reached out directly to NoCry and I got a replacement faster than Amazon Prime, and they followed up too. Great service.

practice & Strain your paint and thin it correctly and keep tip clean alway while using.
Good sprayer if you figure out how to spray you want. Me I've only used the smallest white spray tip. Can't speak for the other sizes. I'm all about not having overspray and leave plenty of paint. I've been using 1/4 of water or little more to get funnel flowing good. I wish the funnel viscosity measuring tool it comes with was half its side with a longer handle. Nobodys got 180 to wait. I don't wait now I see the speed of drainage. I also wish I could make my paint half as thin to spray through the smallest tip. Crank up the volume you crank up the water too. Too heavy it drips it's so thin. There should be notches at bottom of paint jar or something for grip. Also i can't find any replacement paint jars or lids for this brand. The Lid OD is 3 1/4 +/- 1/32. Also never found a video of someone using this NoCry brand yet. Had my first one for about 4 or 5 months ago. And still running fine and bought a 2nd to have 2 paints loaded i recommended this spray at the $35 price refurbished used even. Just practice. I spray mainly the small circle for cabinets it says but I spray walls trim and barely squeeze trigger to right when paint comes out but more air then paint. Cause the firsts 1/4 pull is just Air and useful in a few ways. Cleaning tip while spraying. Blowing cob webs away, and drying the paint you just sprayed. Closer you get to tip the warmer the air gets. (Not for skin just) stuff your painting. Its low pressure but idk what amount it takes to enter you blood stream. Not recommended anyway close to tip.

Amazing Value-Highly adjustable--Do some test runs first!
I bought this to paint some Fichman radiator covers with Benjamin Moore Advance paint-the covers had slots that were really hard to paint with a brush. For the money, this is unbeatable. Once I thinned the Advance acrylic paint down about 12 oz/gallon with the B/M Paint Extender 518, it sprayed really well. That really helped avoid orange peel. The only downside to this sprayer is that the manual didn't explain the interaction of the controls well. If you adjust the trigger so that it can't go very far back, that seems to spray more paint than if the trigger can go all the way back. Also, the adjustment lever in the front of the nozzle, at the top, also loosens up the front disk so you can rotate it, in addition to adjusting the broadness of the spray.I strongly urge you to get a bunch of cardboard (like maybe 5-10 pieces about 6 ft by 6 ft and try painting a bunch with the settings set differently. You also may want to change out the disks which set how fine the spray is. That will give you a much better idea of how the settings change the spray pattern, amount of paint that is sprayed, orange peel, etc.Oh, and clean up was fairly easy-I just rinsed out the paint cup with warm to hot water, rinsed out the paint feed tube, and thens sprayed water through it. Then I soaked the nozzle pieces overnight.Very pleased with this purchase--one of the few times I'm actually motivated to right a review!

It's hard to believe how well this NoCry HVLP sprayer works.
The obvious hurdle I had to overcome was all about thinning the latex paint appropriately for HVLP. Thankfully, there are lots of videos and user tips that helped me. However, one tip made the whole process work: Use Windshield Washing Fluid (WWF) as the thinning agent. As a leap of faith, and with hopes that it would improve my learning curve with HVLP, I went to Home Depot and picked up a gallon of blue-colored fluid for about $2.50. The thinning process for the NoCry is the same for every other similar sprayer. Start with a 10% ratio and add the WWF until the consistency is close to buttermilk. It's a heavy liquid, but doesn't pile up after the straining process. I filled the NoCry to the 800 ml or 27 oz line with paint, then initially stirred in 2.5 oz of WWF. It was still pretty stiff, so I added another 1.5 oz of the WWF, tested it in the cup and in the sprayer. The test spray on some primed trim was gorgeous. My very first project of 4 interior doors, 2 large cabinets and the window trim and baseboards in 3 bedrooms. Each and every piece was "stunning," according to my wife. WIN!I really don't know how you can beat this manufacturer's product line. They seem truly committed to making great products, with great support, usable docs and a warranty period that is unheard of for the product's price. Oh, by the way, their small but mighty battery powered screwdriver is top of the line too! Go NoCry!
