This is a great kitchen gadget for people. I have used it daily since receiving it. The shape of the handle makes inserting into the (usually hard) surface of the apple a breeze (as well as the teeth on the knife end). The grip is so comfortable and sturdy. It's easy to keep clean, including removing the core, as it pops open for easy maintenance. It's very well made. I recommend this to anyone who does a lot of work with apples (the only thing I've used it for is apples so I don't have review information for anything else. Love this gadget! We all love pineapple but I lose too much just using a knife. This works great. Easy to use and does a great job slicing removing the core. So glad I got it and I would recommend.

Im not normally a gadget person but pineapples are a pain in the but to slice manually so I thought I would give this a shot. Im so glad I did. It was extremely easy to but together and even easier to use. I cut off the top of the pineapple and put it in a bowl large enough to fit the entire pineapple and start turning l. When I say simple, I mean it. Perfectly cut pineapple, and no mess. The tool is easy to clean and disassemble. Its a must have if you like pineapple.
