My favorite chips but price is getting too high
I should probably start by saying I love Garden of Eatin' Blue Corn Tortilla chips. And I am not just saying that--I really do love these chips and eat them all the time, so I have been a devoted customer for over a decade. So as far as taste, flavor, quality, etc., these chips are fantastic--the best IMO. They are always fresh, and thus nice and crispy, and they are great with some hummus dip, and also salsa, and really any dip.Unfortunately, Garden of Eatin' have repeatedly raised their prices over the last 2-3 years. Granted, as most of you know all to well, inflation has run rampant this year, and as a result, prices for almost everything have increased significantly. However, the price for these chips has nearly tripled in the last few years. I am not exaggerating--not only has the price increased, but the size of the bag has decreased at the same time, from 22oz, to 16 oz, and then down to the 10oz bags they typically sell in most grocery stores now.Fortunately the price is much better here when you buy in bulk, but it has gone up a good bit here too in the last 6-12 months. Recently it has come back down, so hopefully the price increases are over. And I should probably add that the price for these chips is still lower than any other brands' tortilla chips, even the crappy generic private label tortilla chips. So it does not seem right giving them a lower rating--as long as they have stopped jacking up the price, right now they are still a good deal, and they are still the best tortilla chips on the planet. As far as packaging/shipping, I have never had any issues ordering these, and I have been buying these regularly for almost two years now.

They're wonderful and aren't salted
They taste good, especially if you are restricting your salt. They behave like regular tortilla chips for purposes of dipping or nachos.

expired product and completely crushed
This product had an expiration date of Aug 30th...and their were 12 packages....so no way to consume by then...and they were smashed to tiny crumbles....would never be able to hold any vegetables or condiments....completely useless purchase!

Fabulous great-tasting and healthy snack
These taste great, they are crunchy, and easy to eat. They are great when you use them to eat bean dip. They do get broken up a bit during shipping, but I don't mind. The majority of the time I just eat them plain, that's how good they taste.

and it used to be my favorite chips. I ordered a big pack of 12 ...
I used to buy a lot of this at Whole Foods, and it used to be my favorite chips. I ordered a big pack of 12 of these from Amazon, and after opening and eating 4 bags, I noticed that all of the chips had this quite present burnt taste to it. I don't think my taste buds could have changed that much in just 3 years, I think this batch was just overcooked to the point it overwhelms the red powder seasoning. Honestly it has such a burnt taste to it I don't know if it is rancid.I'm giving this product 4 stars even though I think this batch deserves 1-2 stars because I am not sure how often the batches go wrong. When I get more in the future I will have to buy individual bags from Whole Foods to see if the burnt flavor is still there, and only if that is fine would I buy a big pack of 12 again.

Best blue cardboard for someone who has to watch salt intake
I lovingly joke and call it "blue cardboard". My hubby has to watch his salt intake. It's awesome with homemade salsa (where I can cut the salt there as well). Dip in melted cheese - awesome. Homemade nachos? Awesome. Two thumbs uo
