A Good Value for Decent Tips.....
These work and are well worth the $$ for 5 decent replacement tips. I installed and tinned all 5 of them in my Hakko FX-888D. Tried them as well in an inexpensive 937D+ and I would say they have a hair more thermal mass than the OEM Hakko T18 tip. They take a couple seconds longer to get to working temp, but once there hold their heat quite well. Shorter tinned section of the tip compared to OEM Hakko, but very usable. All 5 tips are the most popular. 2x Chisels, Conical, Bevel and Knife. Should last any hobbyist a long time.

Some tips!
New tips are like a new hairdo, you didn't know what you were missing! But now that you have it, you can't let them go. Working seamlessly. Only advice is I had to also replace my tip holder & it didn't come with the kit, not a big deal just be aware.

Good low cost alternative to original Hakko tips
In truth, I don't see much of a difference in using these tips compared to the original Hakko ones. These heat up fast and maintain temperature very close to the Hakko brand. Only time will tell how long they last in use. I am very happy when I compare cost vs. usage.

Decent Aftermarket Tips (Finally)
These tips are probably the best aftermarket ones I've come across; they match the Hakko T18 specs very closely so they fit as they should. Performance seems to be on par with my original Hakko tips from my limited testing. The other "clone" tips that are the 900M style are garbage in comparison.

Quality does not compare with Hakko parts
The edges and flat surfaces are round. Unlike the Hakko parts, there are no thermally conductive inserts. They will work just fine for general soldering, but not for applications where attention to detail is important.

works well with me solder iron and its nice to have a variety of tips for mine as now i have a set for actually soldering and cutting plastics and not worry about mixing up and ruining my tinned tips with bits of plastic
