This pedestal is really built. Well there’s not much to it, but the welds were very professional. Unfortunately I could not use it. It would not fit my boat.

Not much to grouse about here. Mine was welded solid and properly painted.

Good quality, no swivel

Very sturdy. I currently have push in pin type seat pedestals, but don't like the fact that they're wobbly and could pop out of hole. Was on the lake recently, and came across another person's wake, and front seat popped out into floor of boat! Using this type of pedestal, the seat is connected permanently to floor and seat. Plus, the pedestal holes line up perfectly with existing pedestal base. Haven't had on water yet, but should be much better. I have a Tracker Grizzly 1754 sc. Could even paint these easily to match boat color if preferred.

I bought this to replace the low pedestal on my Classic Accessories pontoon boat. I needed the raised pedestal because I added a casting platform to the front of my boat. If you are using an electric motor on your boat, I also recommend replacing the pedestal base with a 360 degree mount so you can turn around to use the tiller (so much easier on the back and you don’t have to install a bunch of steering equipment/modifications). The product came with all the nuts and bolts and was easy to install.
