Absolutely love this cutter for work, it's easy to use and fold up when I have customers to take care of. It has a decent grip, I haven't had accidents with it like I do with normal box cutters. It's not to heavy, and the design was made smart, and I love how it locks when you close it in case you leave it in reach of little hands. I've been using it for months and dropped it multiple times and haven't had issues with durability. It's a good value for your money, and getting a color that you'll remember in case anyone picks it up is a good idea especially for retail situations.

Vickay folding utility knife - box cutter * I LOVE this box cutter. It's much more durable than some others I've been using. I also love that they have colors, especially my purple because hubby cannot say it's his! Lol *Sturdy with a good weight that makes it feel nice & solid in your hands. *Does include a few blades in an easy to use storage case. *Now a drawback might be the price. It was more expensive than most however the quality, weight, sturdiness & color options made it worth it to me. *As far as usefulness I use mine for many tasks. Opening boxes of course, cutting through bubble packaging, cutting up recyclables & even for propergating plants as it is extremely useful in getting an extremely clean & even cut through the largest of stems. *If you are ok paying a little more for one then I highly recommend this one. **Pics & video included

I give it 100 stars.. I love the woodwork and detail of it all.. I love how easy it closes and how you have a tool if needed. And you get xtra blades. I'm so glad I found this company on Amazon. 3.5/5 Really... On a passing glance, this thing is very elegant and stylish. Its ... why I bought it really. When closed, there is a lot of "slop" in the hinge mechanism. It does open with some nice positive feedback and a very affirming "click". Once locked, the arm itself is very rigid; so that is good. What isnt good, and why I am actually detracting "1.5" stars from is the blade locking mechanism is very sloppy. The blade deviates 2-3mm and is not super secure. If youre looking for a precision cut, this is firmly unacceptable. Light scratch passes are fine, and using it as box cutter or general purpose tool is also firmly ok; but it really is a lot of play and wiggle in the device. I think I can put a shim in or something and mod it to make it not wiggle; because otherwise its a very decent utility knife.

Im a tradesmen. After receiving and using this knife i do not see how it cud get anything but a 5. I’ll sav u lotsa time going thru the other options. This is the most compact knife out there, that still gives you a substantial tool wen open. Rock solid wen open, compact streamlined wen closed. I like it so much that i actually bought the wood handled option they offer for carrying wen in more formal places.

We love these box cutters. Fits in your hand perfectly. Balanced, weight is perfect. This is our second one and I’ll be getting a third today. We are always cutting boxes. Had my first one in the blue, second gold. Get buy!
