Great food!
Whoa, real food for our besties! This stuff is amazing and my Doberman is doing really well on it. Her coat is super shiny and she’s digesting this really well (as evidenced by what’s coming out the other end 🤢) not inexpensive, but seems worth it to me!

Dr. Harvey's is a blessing; it's saving my dog's life
QUICK REVIEW: Dr. Harvey's base mix and supplements have, without a doubt, extended my dog's life and improved his mobility. He no longer requires prescription dog food, nor any other medications. Dr. Harvey's is worth every penny.A BIT OF HISTORY: One year ago, we got the terrible news that our senior shih tzu mix Francis had kidney disease. Our vet immediately switched Francis to a prescription dog food and while he ate the food without complaint, he was miserable. On the prescription food, Francis was constantly hungry and begging for food. He gained considerable weight and developed mobility impairment and painful joints. We couldn't tell what was worse--the kidney disease or the prescription kidney diet. After searching online to find a better alternative, we came across Dr. Harvey's. Like others recommended, we called Dr. Harvey's directly and spoke with the kindest woman who listened to our concerns with compassion, experience, and wisdom. She recommended Raw Vibrance to help with Francis' weight loss, instructed us on the right protein (1.5 ounces of beef or 1 egg white per meal), and encouraged us to call back with questions. In addition to Raw Vibrance, we started him on both the Dr. Harvey's Kidney Health Support Supplement and Golden Years Supplement.ABOUT HIS PROGRESS: Flash forward to one year after Francis' initial diagnosis--His kidney labs are stable (some labs even got a bit better!), he has lost considerable weight and his mobility has improved significantly. While he's still a senior dog, he's the most vibrant good boy we've seen in a while. We are in love with Dr. Harvey's products and the company. We even get him the Dr. Harvey's dehydrated sweet potato treats as a healthy rawhide alternative and he likes it.ABOUT THE FOOD: The dehydrated mix looks quite healthy. We've noticed some batches tend to have more larger pieces, while others tend to have more fine "dust." We feed our now 19-pound boy 1.5 scoops of the mix per meal plus the protein, supplements, and fish oil. It takes a while to rehydrate, so I make two meals worth of mix at night, so that it's ready for him the next day. Once a week, I also make 1.5 ounce meatballs and boil the eggs that he'll eat throughout the week. It really helps to speed up daily meal prep. The only downside of Dr. Harvey's is that it is so messy. Since it's a wet base, he gets food all over his face, his floppy ears, the floor, etc. You can see the stain in one of his photos. :D And, of course, the base mix and supplements get expensive. Thankfully, we can afford it; again, it's worth every penny.Wishing you and your loved one a healthier and happier life.

A great supplement for our pup. We have used this for years - the dogs like it and it adds a lot of nutrients to their dietFirst started using it with our dog who had diabetes but it is now a staple for the others

So healthy for my baby!
My pup is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The breed is genetically susceptible to heart disease so I always want to be pro active when it comes to feeding her. This food has all the right ingredients and is so healthy for her. Plus, she loves it! She is 4 and has been having this food since 12 weeks old. So far, no murmur. I don’t know if it’s because I feed her Dr Harvey’s, but it certainly can’t hurt!

This freeze dried veggie saves me so much time.
This is a quality freeze dried veggie that you can soak in hot water for 10 minutes and add to the top of dog food to make the dog food more enjoyable and healthy for the dog. Or if you're preparing a homemade dog food, rather than chopping up all the veggies you would have to keep fresh on hand, you can just add the warm water to this veggie mix and add it to what you're preparing before or after it's ready to eat. My dogs seem to enjoy their food with the addition of the veggies, and I'm certain it adds a good measure of nutrition. Dr. Harvey's have other versions of the hydrated food, but it seems we use this Raw Vibrance Grain Free one the most. The dogs also like the flavor, and I like the smell of the one that has oats in it.

Good Mix, But Wish it Was Less Powdery
This is a good veggie mix to add to my dog's food (kibble and dehydrated/freeze-dried raw) a couple times a week for variety. However, I wish they didn't pulverize so much of it into a fine powder because every time I scoop it out, pour it into the food container (I make it in her dehydrated/freeze-dried dinner the night before and refrigerate it), and close the bag, that powder flies up into the air in a cloud and goes up my nose if I forget to hold my breath and fan it away from me. Said powder in my nose makes me sneeze a lot. It's quite annoying. So, if they made the same mix but not pulverized into a powder, I'd be happy. I've also bought a couple of their other mixes in the past, but got this one this time for variety. The others aren't as powdery. They're all good and healthy for my dog, and I assume they taste good since she eats them (mixed in with her food).

Our dogs will never be without it
As many of us have come to realize kibble is cheep garbage and isnt fit for a rodent. Finding the courage to rise up and take control of exactly what you are feeding your precious dog is the right move. Wakeup to the lies these corporate dog food companies are telling us. Their interest is money not our pets. Vets do what their trained and say what their told and dog food companies sponser our vet schools. All dogs should eat real quality food. It's simple and easy. We have a one-year-old French Bulldog who's been eating Dr Harvey's and does wonderful. He loves his dog food. I control what goes into his dog food. We have an 8 year old English Mastiff female who was not doing well after eating 8 years of process dry kibble. Since switching her to Dr Harvey's 6 months ago she is doing fantastic, has lost all her access weight, her fur is fantastic, she's vibrant and doing very well. Just try it and you will believe and your dogs will thank you.
