GEWA 411750 Mute Tourte for Cello

This mute has been around forever and does the job well - easy to slide up and over the bridge.

As a violin orchestral mute it serves it's purpose well.

It’s the cheapest option and quite good. I would say it reduces the sound of the violin by very little, but it does make it “softer”. Great for playing in orchestras when needed.

I use this for my viola and it works just fine.

The product isn’t strong enough and doesn’t work

It looks like the ones Ive used before, but when this arrived as you can see on the picture theres a brown bit (suggesting this might be used?) ive tried cleaning it but bits of impurities come out like rust. If not for the fact that its tiny and wont be seen from far away I would have refunded. Perfectionists aware

Non mi aspettavo che una sordina così piccola (circa 15mm di diametro) e così economica mi sarebbe piaciuta così tanto!Riduce il suono di poco, e lo rende anche più morbido, inoltre si posiziona molto facilmente e rimane agganciata sulle corde quando non serve. La consiglio

La sourdine ne fonctionne pas du tout, elle est toute molle et ne fonctionne pas !

À ne pas laisser sur le chevalet, sinon ça laisse une trace noire.
