A Wonderul Blast From The Past
Nearly 30 years after this system was released, and more than 20 years after it was discontinued, the SNES is still one of the most respected and popular systems today. This is the console that put RPG's on the map. This classic re-release is easy to hook up, and comes with the original controllers and 22 games, all of which were among it's most popular and critically acclaimed titles. A great bargain for video game enthusiasts and well worth the money. I'm having a great time playing this. My only complaint is Nintendo didn't release a player's guide for this bundle of games. Trying to find the individual player's guides for them now you would end up paying 50 bucks or more for each one. I think they missed a real opportunity to make some more money on something customers definitely would have purchased. Yes, I know publishing a player's guide for 22 games might not be practical, but Squaresoft did it years ago for it's Final Fantasy Chronicles, (2 games in one guide, but condensed). Just make the pictures and such smaller and fit more on a page. Even though the system was released 3 years ago, I still think there is plenty of market for this. Other than that, any video game enthusiast, or even a casual gamer like myself will get hours of enjoyment out of this system. A bonus is not only can you save your games like you could on the original SNES cartridges, but there is also a suspend feature that allows you to save any game at any point instantly, (rather than having to look for a save point in the game, but those are all there as well). Another thing I don't understand is why Nintendo made such a limited amount of these systems and refuses to make more. They have only to gain more money, and so many people still want this product.

Don’t buy this!!!
If I could give this -100 stars I would. Don’t buy this. It’s a poor product and I’m so angry. I paid $311 and change for a product that came like a $10 fake plastic toy. It wouldn’t even power up when plugged in. It seemed so fake even the plastic seemed like faux plastic. It was so disappointing because it was supposed to be my twins big Christmas gift. Then because it wouldn’t even power on we returned it over a week ago. I’ve been tracking it and even though it says they received the item back days ago(plus I have the shipping receipt) they still have not fully refunded it. It now says “refund delayed” and there’s a disclosure that returns may not be fully funded. I will be absolutely enraged if they do not fully refund this garbage product because it literally was a main Christmas gift for my kids!!! An expensive one that is a rip off!!!

It is what it is
Is as advertised. Games and controllers work fine. It feels grossly overpriced for what it is though. It’s an emulator in a mini SNES shaped box.

Entertaining classic
Smaller replica but a great time. Many fond memories and great frustrations with this selection of simple but elegant classics and entertaining times. Worth every penny.

Needed a clearer picture
This was nice and reminded me of my childhood BUT, the picture looked just like it was 1989 again!! They couldve made it a little sharper. And I dont know if its because technology has advanced and I am spoiled now, but I got bored with this after a week. By all means though, ADD TO CART if you miss the 90's!!

Great system to play most of the SNES Classics!
Works great, as advertised. I just wish there was a way to get to main menu, save/load states, etc without having to get up & hit the reset button. In Super Ghouls & Ghosts that could mean getting up 10 times in a minute save scumming. Just reviewing all the games I had to get up, and hit reset 21 times. The controls need a home menu or a sequence of buttons pressed to reset it.

Throwback to Childhood
I grew up with the NES and was not disappointed when I set this up. It was easy to setup and has been a lot of fun. I bought it for myself but obviously my kids have been using it most of the time. The only thing I didn't realize is that it doesn't have the ability to insert game into it. That would have been cool for getting the gameboy attachment but hey, doesn't change my love for this!

Keeps glitching out!
Game kept glitching and going back to home screen in the middle of playing a game. Really big way to ruin Christmas. Sending it back and trying one more time.
